2005 dodge 2500 diesel it has a new brake controller. trailer brakes work when you push the controller manualy but trailer brakes don't work when you push the brake pedal

there is likely a wire that goes from your brake pedal switch to the trailer brake controller this wire is probably broken or not hooked up. if it is hooked up and no wires are broken I would start making sure everything is hooked up right.

How to open hood of broken cable Kia Sedona 2005

sorry to hear you have a snapped hood cable you can access the long hood lever from the front grill with a screw driver, but the problem is the actual catch that as a very strong spring but with the hood catch released and a long screw driver and a bright torch you can with a struggle go between the catch at an angle to price the catch claw to one side, but at the same time being carful not to damage your front grill, you can not take the front grill off as it is bolted on.. It also depend on what end of the cable as broken if it in the cab you can cut the outer case back a little bit to get to the inner cable to pull it with pliers or grips, but if it's the catch end then you are going to struggle as the is a metal shroud that covers the catch so there is no way to get to the catch lever to be able to operate it by leverage. I'm sorry but you are going to struggle but it can be done.

Very good luck to you hope you do it on your first attempt but release the hood lock so your not struggling against that.

I have a 2000 Olds intrigue it set up for about 6 years. Now it will start and run strong but struggles to drive. I have changed plugs, fuel filter, checked map sensor did coolant change,...

I don't understand runs strong, but struggles to drive? Do you mean it revs easily in nuetral or park but is sluggish accellerating in drive or in gear? Try putting air in all the tires. Also, make sure the brakes aren't seized. Jack up the car and see if the wheels spin freely to check if the brakes are engauged.

Hope it helps. Good luck.

Chevy transmission

Check the fluid level in the transmission. run the fault codes to check for torque converter clutch and TCM operation. Check that the park brake is actually coming free on being released and not locking up on the rear wheels.

How to remove a bumper on a peugeot 308

I have just finished replacing the broken grille on my wife's Peugeot 308 (09 reg) wiuth the help of a YouTube video in Russian .... ...not that I could understand what they were saying but at least you can follow what they are doing.

If attempting this, allow a good three hours which is what it took me as there are many bolts to undo and a knack of pushing and pulling fragile plastic lugs. Take your time.

Removal can be done without putting car on ramps as you will need to put the wheels on full lock to get at the wheel-arch liners.

Firstly, undo the various screws on the plastic tray underneath the engine which connect to the front bumper skirt. There are three main bolts with washers which are located half way back, one central and one each side.

Secondly, put the steering on full lock to give you access to the wheel-arch liner for each front wheel. Pull the wheel-arch liner back to reveal a 10mm bolt where the bumper meets the wing of the car. You will need a ratchet with a swivel knuckle and 10mm socket to get onto the bolt head. Undo the bolt and repeat on the other side.

Lift the bonnet and at the front edge you will see four black flat circles. Using a small flat blade screwdriver, lever up the centre and you can then lift up with your finger which releases the retaining plastic bolts.

Looking at the top of the panted front bumper where it attached to the front of the engine compartment, you will see several small slots along the width of the plastic which you can place a small flat bladed screwdriver into and push down gently whilst pulling the front panel forwards in a rocking motion to release the plastic lugs. The whole bumper assembly should then start disconnecting from the car. It is helpful to have a second person to gentle prise away the wheel-arch sections from the car body. The whole front bumper section should then fall away but be careful as the wiring for the front fog lights will still be attached. Take hold of the lamp holders and turn through 90 degrees to remove the bayonet fittings. Pull the bumper assembly clear of the car and place on a fabric cloth/mat to avoid scratching the paintwork.

Re-fitting is a reverse of the above.

How do you put front brake pads on cadillac sedan deville 1996

Front brakes on all modern cars are disc brakes. The front brakes generally provide 80% of the stopping power, and so tend to wear faster than the rear. Replacing them - pads, rotors and calipers - is quite simple once you understand the process, and can save you a great deal of money. These instructions will include a full front brake replacement. Also, having a service manual for your vehicle will save your sanity, as well as time and money. If you only need pads, or pads and rotors, but not calipers, skip the steps for replacing calipers. Repeat the steps below for each side of the car as necessary.
