Could you tell me the white cables placement on the Delonghi 3107's switch

Hello, I need to replace the double switch on my Delonghi 3107 heater radiator (one of the switches is broken). Before removing the switch, there is a pair of 6 cables that need to be unplugged from the switch before removing it; the cables go on the upper, middle, and bottom part of the switch. On top goes two black cables, and either on the bottom part or in the middle go the other pair of white or black cables. I really cannot remember if the white ones go on the middle section of the switch or if they go on the lower part, could anyone help me? Thank you.

SOURCE: 1998 K2500 ignition switch removal

Don't remove the lock cylinder! just break out the small plastic insert inside the upper panel where it slides over the lock cylinder and once its together you will be happy with the ease of installation and the ignition where the key goes in covers up the whole where that little bit of plastic once was

The switch doesnt need replaced, it is most likely the Resistor for the blower motor. They are common for burning up and only the high speed will work.,

If it is fogging your windows, you have a leaking heater core. Dash removal is required to fix it.

Hello, the windows in my wife's Dodge Caravan will not roll down. Is this the rgulator or the switch and how do it tell?

You will need to open the Door panel and check the the regulator. Most provable cause is that the cable is are loose.

Im getting no heat after I changed the thermostat and checked fluids what else can be wrong..i have a 1997 hyundai accent gs?

Hello, I usually work on Ford products but I will try to help you. When the car is at normal operating temperature turn on the heater.
Go under the hood and locate the 2 rubber hoses that go into the Firewall for the heater core. When the engine is hot and the heater is on, if both these hoses are hot you have water flow. This means the heater is getting hot and the problem is your ductwork is not moving the flaps under the dash. You have something broken under the dash like a cable or electric solenoid that is not moving the flaps. You would need to look at the end of the temperature cable or heat selector cable to see if the cable has slipped or whether it is moving at all. Then fix or replace that part.

If the heater hoses above are not BOTH hot, then you have a water flow problem. Usually you go to a autoparts store and ask the clerk for a water flow valve for the heater. Once you have it in hand you will see what it looks like and only need to find it on the car.

Drain your antifreeze to save it and then replace the water valve. Start the car and add part of the antifreeze back to the radiator and wait until there is room for the rest of the antifreeze. Be sure to turn on the heater to get the water circulating and check for leaks. You should be done.

Does anyone know a way around the cold weather not starting ION? Now that saturn is no more, GM has more than doubled the price of fixing ignition switch. i believe my estimate was ..starting around $600

Hello Tricia,

The fix is unbelievably simple and NOT the ignition switch. It is however the pass lock white wire. The wire is located in the steering column. You can find a youtube video on it. You simply remove the airbag fuse (for safety), unscrew two screws under the steering wheel, you will see many wires. Find the wire wire (a guy has a complete instructional video on youtube), crank your Ion, cut the wire while it is cranked, seal the ends and replace everything. The only draw back is the passlock dashboard light will stay on. The passlock system is basically is someone steals your car without a key, it tells the computer to stop giving it gas. I had the same problem and since I cut the white wire it has cranked EVERY time. Good Luck, it will only cost you around 5 bucks...

Engine Temp pegs, then drops

Hi I am vortash if the vehicle is overheating but no heat in the heater system it means no water in radiator ?. ie none in the heater matrix either you have a serious problem if the water is finding it's way into your oil and emeulsifying .. turning the oil creamy white means the head gaskest has gone and need replacing driving the vehicle in this condition will cause more damage to the head and result in at least a $2,000 bill for repair .. as the head will need to be skimmed pressure tested and posibly replaced doubling that initial $2,000 repair cost ..
get it checked out now and save yourself a bundle before it's too late .. regards Vortash

I need electrical plan for pluging my radio ,for toyota echo 2005

If you are attempting to install an aftermarket radio Don't butcher the plugs on your Toyota ... simply go to a car stereo shop and buy an adapter plug for $10-$20 then wire it to your new radio ... then just plug them together (the wires on the adapter are marked) You'll likely need a dash kit too ... save yourself from a lot of frustration time and money! ....

Lancer 2002, change heater control switch

contrary to what the dealership tells you you don't have to take out the entire dash to fix the heater switch, all you have to do is first locate a heater switch which I thought was imposible to find too, but I found one online for 165 bucks from a used autoparts store, then all you do is take off the molding that surrounds your stereo, then take out your stereo, then you will see a blue cable on the right side and a black one on the left carefully disconnect those and the two wireing harnesses in the back the upper one is white the lower is black, then pull the unit out and put the other back in the same way, now it's still going to stick cause of those moron engineers so if you kneel on the ground and look next to your gas pedal you will see to pieces of white plastic that is why you can't switch to heat that flimsy cabel has to push that gear forward, that gear is sticky so it won't go forward, there is a replacement gear to fix that problem that should be about 18.00 from the dealership. it took me about an hour or less to do the whole operation. I just literally finished it 20 minutes ago in my wifes lancer which i broke that knob off of. Good luck if you havent figured it out yet.
