Hello. I also am having issues with my Envoy, the stabilizer lights are on and also the ABS and break light. But along with the lights being on I have no control of my heat or air conditioner, oh and no cruise control either. But the truck runs fine. there is no issues with the way it runs. Can anyone please tell me what to do to fix this besides paying all kinds of money to garage?

On my s1s10, it was a blown fuse under the hood and front wheel hubs needing replaced. The bad wheel hubs were throwing abs and traction systems as well as no cruise. The noise from the hubs confused the abs sensors until they got new ones. Everything is one piece nowadays.

SOURCE: 05' Sierra 1500 trailer break lights

try http://www.etrailer.com/faq-wiring.aspx. This should help. Make sure the lights and trailer are grounded. Especially with a tilt trailer. The tilt pins carry the ground. Run a ground strap from the frame to the bed.

Servicr stability trac warning light is on in my 2011 chevy camero

Just like with every other type of warning light, if it's on, there's a trouble code stored. Get the codes read and post the code. Then we can help.

Electronic stability control & abs & brake assist warning indicator lights are coming on after an accident. How serious are they?

You have damage to the front area brake system. It could be very serious but if car stops OK most likely not that serious you just won't have abs or traction control. The damage is most likely a speed sensor or something similar. I said it could be serious that is only worst case.
Here is a breakdown of what lights mean
ABS keeps your breaks from locking up
BREAK ASSIST helps your breaks
Traction control if you one wheels spin more than others system adjust wheel spiN

I have service stability light on & ABS light & the traction control light is on i went auto zone to get the code read but it gave me no code i drive it it feels like the breaks are coming on by its self...

If Autozone didn't get a code, then it's storing a B, U, or "C" code. Their code readers only read "P" codes.

GM has issued at least 3 service bulletins on this issue, ranging from a chaffed wiring harness to wheel speed sensor issues. Find all the ABS and Service Traction articles here

How do you clear stabillity controll light and abs light

Most likely yu cause a problem with the abs system since the stability control uses this system it will also illuminate when there is an ABS issue. If there where not a problem the light would have gone out. Since the light remains on we now something is wrong. Doyle check your work making sure you didn't accidentally unplug, break, or pull the wires out of a sensor. If nothing looks wrong than your next step is to check for ABS codes with a scan tool.

Stabilitrak remains on once I start driving my GMC Envoy 2009. once i turn of the engine & then switch it on , t he light goes off but the moment i start driving it's lit. could you please let me...

Hello.... The stabilitrak system is controlled by the abs module. Its job is to maintain vehicle stability in situations where you may normally lose control by activating the abs system and/or changing the valving in the shock absorbers. When the message is displayed there is a problem in the system, could be an issue with a sensor or wiring. There are a couple of common problems with the system that require reprogramming the engine control module and the abs module. This must be performed at the dealer. The only way to know exactly what the issue is would be to have the abs computer scanned for trouble codes.
GM issued a couple of tech bulletins in regards to owners having this problem.
I hope this helps.

My traction and stability controll failure lights along with my ABS warning light are constantly on

i believe they are related to a abs problem. the car uses the abs to control the stability (braking on certain wheels when nessisary) there is probably a malfunction in the abs system that's why the light is on constantly. this would need to be looked at by a professional repair facility.

WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD THE ABS LIGHT CAME ON ALONG WITH THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT.WE BEGAN GETTING A SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM,FOLLOWED BY SERVICE STABILIZATION SYSTEM,FOLLOWED BY SERVICE ABS...

All are tied into the ABS system, traction as well as stabilization, This needs to be looked at by someone who can hook up a diagnostic tester to read the fault codes stored in the ABS system then perform the correct diagnostic procedures to isolate the problem
