Pull the handle as if the seat were installed and you were going to move it forward or back. They will slid back and forth on the seat so you can align the holes. set both sides even once you get the correct line up. After you put in front or rear 2 bolts then slide seat to install the other 2. Hope this helps Mike

There are 4 bolts holding the seat to the floor. 2 in front and 2 in rear. You will need 14mm socket and ratchet or wrench. You will also have to unplug some connectors under the seat, before you take it out of the car.

SOURCE: front seat 1998 pathfinder

I had this problem with my Pathfinder and it was a coin jammed in the rail of the seat. My coin was on the right side of the seat blocking it from moving. This has happened to me twice. I took a tool to get it out it was pretty hard to see but you shouldn't have to remove the seat to get it out.

SOURCE: front seat locked in recline,

I just bought a 2005 Nissan Altima that had the same problem. You really can't bring the seat back up without removing the motor and manually turning the metal rod. The motor in my case was fine. I opened the switch and found that a trace on the small circuit board was cut/missing. I soldered it on the spot and it solved the problem. You can access the switch by carefully prying off the switch buttons, then the plate. There are two screws that must be removed so that you can pull the switch assembly out of the seat.

If it was not diassembled once off the TBI, it should be reinstalled to the orignal position/gasket seat. The engine computer controls the location of the plunger itself based on a number of inputs.

My wife removed the rdiver side rear seat from a

This happened to me the other day! My husband took into Kia dealership only to be told they'd need it for a few hours, might have to take the whole seat apart, then resulting in labor charges!
This morning my dad came over with solutions he'd found online involving the use of a broomstick or rake. That didn't work. You first have to slide the whole seat in the forward position, so the metal tracking behind the seat is exposed. Next locate the cable cord on the inside of this track. My dad then took a long, flat head screwdriver, placed it under then cable and pushed it upwards/forwards-which released the rear latches and then I pulled the lever and we pushed the seat out!! Hope this helps!

Slide seat forward so the rear track

Took apart carburetor and can not get it back together

Your best bet would be to go to the auto parts store and get a rebuild kit for your carburator. You can't reuse carb gaskets anyway and the kit will include a blow up diagram of the carb with the parts that need to be replaced and steps to make sure you have the proper settings inside.
Carburators are precise so all measurements they give you in that kit are exact.Take your time. If you took the idle screws out of the front be very careful when you put them back in. Just turn them until the stop, DO NOT tighten them after they stop on the seat. They are soft and will lose their shape, making it hard to properly adjust. Hope this helps and good luck.

hard to say how far your uncle has gone with it, the best advice I can give is shoot down to a parts store and buy a $15 mechanics manual for it, this will give you pics and instructions, you can be confident then too. All the best.

I have a 1990 Jeep Cherokee Limited. I'm gonna explain my problem in detail and I hope someone can help me. Origonally my brother ran it without oil and the Engine locked up on him. then my dad fixed it...

youir jeep wont start because you dont have your distributer in the right turning point. The way your distributer sits on the engine has to be the same as it was when to took out the previous distributer. if it isn't i wont spark at all, and if it actuallly is close enough to make it run, it runs like ****. i would bring in your jeep and have a shop move your distributer, or if you want to do it yourself... just try unbolting it, lift it up and turn it one tooth over on the gear thats inside the engine. bolt it back on. try to start it. if it doesn't work, just keep trying it until it does.

Took seatbelts apart and dont knw how to put back

i would suggest that you get new ones. the dealership has them and they are something you don't really need to work right till you really need them to work right. why take a chance? not trying to be pushy but that would be my solution.
