Here is a link to the technical manual:
http://www.njcautoclaves.com/pdf/LS3-None-Vac-Parts-Explosion.pdf

It doesn't list an error code of 1 just 2-9 so I have no ideal.

Replace your thermostat, it's bad not letting the coolant regulate to normal operating temp.

SOURCE: Heater problem with 1994 Suburban. have replaced

There is a blockage in the heater box. Some vehicles have a cabin air filter which can be cleaned/replaced. Others have to manually clean the heater core fins in the heater box.

SOURCE: ENGINE TEMP GAUGE READ 3/4.

Is there a vast difference in the temperature between the upper and lower radiator hoses? If there is then you should check out the water pump (since you already changed the thermostat).

IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE TEMP SENDING UNIT FOR THE ECM IS NOT READING PROPERLY AND NOT TELLING THE ECM ENGINE TEMP CORRECTLEY SO THE ECM IS NOT ENRICHING THE FUEL MIXTURE FOR COLD STARTS

You need proper fluid level for consistant heat you may have a leak or crack in overflow bottle,Either replace it or find crack and epoxy it.Remember to run car with cap off for a little while while heat is on max to make sure all air is out of system. good luck

How i reset the service engine light on a 2004 range rover?

There are hidden cheats (just like a video game)
this is cool try it out.
1. ignition off
2.Press and hold trip meter button(left black button) down and turn igniton kry to first position. Keep the button pressed about 5 seconds until the words Oil Service or Inspection reset appears on LCD display.
3. Release the button then press and hold till reset begins to flash
while the display is flashing let go then press again.
the display will read END SIA and your all done.

In practice you have to make the inputs quickly, do not delay as you will have to start over

My 2004 Trailblazer's "Check Engine" light has been on. Had it hooked up to a computer and it read, "Secondary Air Injection Malfunction". Any idea on how to fix problem? Thx!!

Take it to a mechanic... :P

On a more serious note, though, check any of the intake manifolds for cracks or loose bolts, then have someone reset the EC error messages. If it happens again then worry about it, if not then don't! Often enough cars will post crazy messages just to annoy you, not because there's anything wrong :p
