Question about 2003 Dodge Neon
Replaced transmission and radiator and changed oil and filter
Usually a scanner to read the engine fault code could lead to the correct diagnosis and repair. But if this transmission was recently repaired bring it back and tell them to do their job.

The holding bolts will be removed with appropriated tools. Tap with wood block to lose it. Once removed check the oil pump for damage. To replace make sure to used a proper gasket and sealant. You should definitely replace the fuel filter though this probably won't fix your hesitation. It wouldn't hurt to replace the spark plugs this is usually the culprit on these engine. I have the same engine in a '99 caravan and found the for some reason the spark plugs on cylinder 3 and 4 loosen up after one year and cause a misfire between 45 and 50 mph under load (when mildly accelerating).

the computer may need to be reflashed. if it is running then it is not a bad sensor. either of those being bad would cause it not to run.

It means there is a problem in the carburetor of your car . But if then so you still have to check the accelerator springs and pedal. For there are worn out or destroyed parts then replace them for good .About the carburetor.Prepare the equipment or tools to be used in servicing the carburetor .So that when carburetor will be repaired or serviced no parts will be damage or lost. Locate the carburetor. Disconnect the fuel lines , the accelerator cable and the magnetic jet from the carburetor.Dis -assemble the carburetor.Clean carburetor with carburetor cleaner.Don't forget to observe safety rules. If there are worn out parts or destroyed parts then replace them .But you the owner don't have time to do the job then go to a car shop mechanic and let them do the job.
