You will need to go buy a wiring harness adapter from your local Walmart (usually cheapest there) or Local Electronics place (ie Best Buy). The wire harness that goes out from the radio goes into the Adapter and the adapter plugs into the car harnesses. Also these Adapters come with the wiring diagrams for your vehicle. They typically run 10 - 15 bucks depending on where you get them. Thanks for using FixYa!

Go to faxonautoliterature. They have the original GM service manual for your truck which will have all the wiring diagrams you need, including all options. They also have separate manuals just for wiring. I've used them before and found service to be excellent. Hope this helps.

check the connector for remnants of the insulation from the cable, and check the snapped ends to see which fit together - might save your bacon!

Fixya has no wiring diagrams. Try and find a uesd factory repair manual. You will need the year of the car to do this search.
