It maybe that the idle speed control unit is faulty or the throttle body bypass ports are clogged also check alternator output volts. Good luck in kurdistan.

SOURCE: hi everybody , sorry for my english ....lool i

Hi, i have the same car and i'm experiencing the same problems. I was told it's the master air sensor by some mechanics and fuel injectors or wires by others. That is not the problem. I had the mechanic check my spark plugs, wires, and coils. and they said they are all working fine so tune up is not gonna help fix the problem. I had the car connected to a computer and it showed no problems on the computer. I notice that when it rains it turns off more often. I've taken it to several mechanics and they can't figure out the problem.

SOURCE: brake lights not working, fuse

Check the brake switch above and behind the brake pedal. It may have slipped out of position or could be faulty. It can be tested with a meter.

What does the knock sensor do

the knock sensor is a vibration detector and if the engine vibrates in a way that the ECU sees wrong your engine will adjust air fuel mix according to the information it sends .

Rattling noise sportage 2008

Sorry for the late reply but, no, it is not related to a loose heat shield. It is a louder rattling sound more like a loose bearing vibrating inside either the transmission or the clutch assembly. Only between 1600 and 1900 rpm. and it is not present under ou over these rpm. The rattle desappear when I lock the 4X4. Dealer is out of solution!!

Kia pride wont start

A quick check around internet sites seems to indicate that only Kias from around 2001 had inertia fuel cut outs. So I figure your problem is probably a flattened or kinked fuel line, from that excursion into the snow.

My 2002 kia rio is kinda load and vibrates when at a stop sign or in park

its because or engine rpm is below 800 when u remove your foot from the gas pedal, try adjusting your engine rpm to 800 or above to get a smoother idle speed

At about 1500 rpm vibrates but stops as it passes 1500rpm

Obviously a couple possibilities here. Just trying to help. Most commonly motor mount getting worn out will do this. I found statements made about some kia's needing a new crankshaft pulley and bolt for similar condition but not necesarily your engine. Youd have to call kia on that one. Hope I helped. Thanks

Front end vibration

We're on our second Sedona and have had this problem on both. In our case it was the front brake rotors. The dealer told me that they're not made thick enough to handle heat loads. They are super-sensitive to heating and warp easily.

With my Sedonas the pads were not retracting completely, sometimes dragging on the rotors (not enough to notice this while driving) causing them to heat even when the brakes were not being applied and causing this front end shaking in the steering wheel when braking. When it got worse, the brake pedal would vibrate too. When we would take it up the mountains the long braking periods on the downslopes would make it much worse as the rotors heated up. The dealership had them machined but the issue persisted and ended up replacing the front rotors.

Replacing rotors is not a difficult task if you're mechanically-inclined and have the right tools. I've done it on many vehicles (though not my Sedonas as they were warranty jobs) and it's usually less expensive to replace them with new ones from your parts store than to have a brake shop work on them.

Hope this helps.

possible valves were adjusted to tight. should not have had to adjust idle if it was too low there was a reason for this.possibl;e vacuum leak or something was unhooked or broke while servicing
