The sound started as a sqeal when turning left and then recently it has become associated with early acceleration, which would seem engine related. However I had the same sound on a Mitsubishi recenbtly and it turned out to be wheel bearing. I am leaning towards left front bearing. What do you think?specially when

Real good chance it's the bearing. They make noise at low speed and when they are being stressed as in turning the wheels.

Whining from the engine or the driveline itself? Whining can be caused by lack of or low lubricant, a bad bearing or a serpentine belt on the way out. Can you be more specific? Does it only whine while you are driving, or does it whine all the time and changes pitch with engine RPM? Does turning the tires change the noise, if so, does it go away in one direction but not the other, or does it increase in noise the closer you get to full lock on the steering wheel?

2007 Volvo XC90 120000km. Whilst driving, the car made a whining noise then stalled. Started up again after 5 min. Any ideas why?

Crankshaft positioning sensor. if it is getting worse, then I would replace it. I don't know what the whining sound is, but it could be related to the stall and a vacuum leak.

Volvo xc90 window regulator replacement

You shouldn't have to remove the glass. On most vehicles you can remove the regulator from the bottom of the glass carefully so the glass doesn't drop. Then carefully lower the glass into the door. There are plenty Of YouTube Videos ..even if not for your model vehicle all of the basics are the same.

I have xc90 d5 there is warning message came of engine system service required with power loss how to solve

This is probably due to a problem with the swirl flap actuator arm - if you remove the top of the engine cover (the plastic bit) and look at the top, left front of the engine, do you see a plastic arm (approx 70 - 100 mm long) disconnected?

How do I access the brake light on the passenger side of a 2007 Volvo XC90?

You need to remove the upholstery from that side. It is fixed with wide, plastic knobs. Turn them open 1/4 turn and remove the upholstery.

The lights are assembled into a plastic 'cradle'. If you're new to this, only remove one bulb at the time and replace it.

Remove the steering wheel or airbag from a 2004 Volvo XC90?

You need a steering wheel puller. You may be able to rent this from your parts house. Disconnect the battery for no less than 1/2 hour before disconnecting the air bag or the air bag could deploy. Place air bag facing up or it could become a projectile if set off.
