Question about Cars & Trucks
The car died at anytime, when he die,he won't start until 20 to 40 minutes, sometime start and die right after. check engine light on and give me p0335 code? crankshaft sensor, but is it possible anything else ?
If the code comes up and it says crankshaft sensor, your cars computer is telling you what your problem is. If this is the only code that comes up, then their is no other problems. Crankshaft sensors work this way sometimes when they start going bad. If you change this part you should be OK. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

difficult to diagnose withoutcar in front of me,best advice is what i said to another woman with a merc--get dolled up to nines and go to a local repair shop and start crying ,always works unless your unlucky enough to get a *** mechanic, and after 40yrs in trade their are not many *** mechanics that i have worked with, weird ones yes but ***?? Or take vehicle to nissan agent as the mechanics their will have product knowledge of the make and should be able to diagnose it in seconds. This is favourite of mine and that is if a particular model is playing up i will try to get into workshop to ask mechanics ,failing which i wait in local cafe at breakfast time and try to collar one their.

In the kit there are two sensor that look identical. The one for the crankshaft has a white paint mark on it near the bolt hole. Make sure that it is in the right location.

Sounds like the timing belt broke. Unfortunately this vehicle was not equiped with no contact valves so if that is the case you will need to have the engine and Head rebuilt. If the crank position sensor can't sense the position of the crank it should shutdown the electrical to keep you from damaging your engine.

Start with the simple and replace the fuel filter. The fuel filter should be replaced every 15,000 miles or once a year to ensure the fuel system is running 100%. Auto Zone will have the fuel filter and can give you the step by step instructions to getting the job done with common tools. If it's the fuel pump failure, you have not gotten the car restarted. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to know you got your car running 100% again soon and please rate.
