There could be a few reasons for this but crank sensor sounds like it's breaking down when hot. But you would expect it to struggle to restart if it was the sensor, if it just struggled to tickover when warm the try cleaning the throttle body housing, if it ticks over really low you can drill a 1/8 hole in the throttle butterfly which just allows the idle speed control valve to operate in a slightly different position.

My 2002 Ford Taurus runs hot, sometimes leaks anti-freeze from what appears to be under the reservoir area and I've also seen green fluid near the back (closest to the dash area) and I have no heat or a/c....

You have a crack in your coolant res. you should also be seeing fluid on the ground near the driver side wheel well. This is causing air to get into your system an cause you to have no heat. Check the res for cracks and seal them up or get a new one

What would cause my exhaust pipe to get red hot? Taurus 2002 dohc

If it under the 'bonnet' then you are probably driving/working it too hard. Thats about the simplest answer. If this is normal fare then I would recommend wrapping them in some sort of heat sheild as used on turbochargers and race cars, this will protect the vulnerable part of your engine from heat.

2002 Ford Taurus SLE AC blows hot, then cold, then hot, and cold. Blower motor blows high, then lower, then high, then lower

First, I would scan the computer network in your vehicle. When I say NETWORK, I mean ALL modules, NOT just the engine control module. Codes in other modules may indicate communications problems between modules that are all connected together through the network.

The next thing I would check is to verify that the BATTERY and CHARGING SYSTEM is functioning properly. I have seen all kinds of goofy electrical problems caused by a bad battery, bad battery connections, or an alternator that is not functioning properly - especially if the alternator has bad diodes.
Scanning the computer network can also possibly tell you if there is a problem with your charging system because many of the modules may have low voltage codes or communications errors.

If doing the above does not turn up any suspects, I have also seen some goofy electrical symptoms being caused by the transmission range sensor shorting out on several Ford products, particularly Taurus. These problems have ranged from engine stalling to the radio cutting in and out, to A/C systems that would not operate. There are usually no codes present in any of the computer modules if this is the problem. If there are any codes present, these should be diagnosed FIRST.

My 2002 Ford Taurus will only blow heat on high. Also it doesnt get very warm. Is it the blower motor?

No. it's the blower motor resistor. It's right beside the blower. The reason it doesn't get hot is the thermostat.

The interior air of my 2002 taurus is blowing warm, instead of hot, air unless I'm sitting at idle for a while. Both hoses to the heater core are hot....what could be causing this?

I had this simular problem on a customers Taurus and found that the heater core was slightley pluged up. She was tight on cash and was able to blow it out with a few bursts of air through the heater hose inlet. If this is your problem be shure to unhook both hoses first. Hope this helps
