if you look under and around sides of your seat you may find an electrical connector not connected , this is probably the power seat connection , i\'ve mostly seen them under seat poked through a small slit in the carpet,as long as the seat you get is the same model year etc you shouls have no problems ,may have to put fuse in fuse box lowerdash drivers side list of fuses will be on the lid cover, hope it works out power seats so much nicer
well problem could be seat motor.water short it out.use test light see if power at the power seat switch.should be yes if fuse okay.work switch with test light or volt meter hook to power seat motor.operate switch if power at seat motor more like water short out seat motor.you can buy seat motor at salvage yard cheaper than going to dealership.
Have the switch tested for the seat and also verify the seat has power to the switch before you do any parts replacing. Power seats have more than one electric motor and it very unlikely that all would stop working. Go under the seat and locate the heavy connector that comes out of the rug and connects to the seat, using a 12 volt test light probe the connector and see that at least one of the heavy wires there is "hot", you may need the key on. If you find no power check owners manual for the location of the power seat fuses, they are likely under the hood. Good luck and hope this helped. yes, most of the time the wiring is already there, the car can be made with power seats or without, as long as its the same year or close, otherwise you would have to run a power and ground wire to it, not a big job, hope this helps,
Yes, this should work, all you need to do is to un bult the 4 bolts on the bottom of the seets that are attached to the floor board. And just unplug the electricle
The heater element for the seat is broken or damaged....It will need to be replaced....The blinking light lets you know there is a problem and does not let power flow to the element. This is for safety reasons to prevent short out or even fire.
