There could be a number of reasons. Fan is bad, fan area in box is so clogged it doesn't allow fan to spin, a bad switch at instrument panel, a bad resistor, bad connections. I would start by removing the fan. I believe you will have to go in behind the glove box. Remove the fan and check to see if it works, it may be fine if bad replace. Check inside of box for leaves and any other kind of clutter that may be preventing fan from spinning. Check wires to fan for mouse damage. Mice can take there toll on a cars wiring. If all is well so far check the switch in your dash. Switches are funny, some last a life time some don't. I believe you will find your problem, following these steps. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

The problem could be basically failure of 25A FUSE 5D and/or 10A FUSE 5A in the I/P fuse block and/or failure of 30A FUSE 3 in the right underhood fuse block. There also could have been failure of the heater and A/C control assembly, the blower speed relay, the blower speed resistor, the high speed blower resistor, and/or the blower motor.

Fan for heater/air conditioner quit working suddenly

its the blower motor resistor that is faulty or the blower motor resistor wire connector that has a bad connection.Wiggle the wire connector going to the resistor with the ignition switch and the fan switch in the on position and if the fan comes on then the connection is bad but, if it does'nt come on then the resistor is faulty.

Radiator fan does'nt work

The radiator fan circuit also has a relay and/or temperature switch, or it could have a temperature sensor, and the PCM turns the relay on and off to actuate the fan(haven't worked on a Ford from this era in a while).Relays do contain moving parts,so this is most likely the cause(use a test light to see if the relay is getting 12v,ground,a switched signal source, and that there is continuity to the fan connector).

Where is the fuse for the heater blower motor. Is there another one besides under the hood?

If your fan is'nt working its more than likely the blower motor resistor has a bad connection.Turn the ignition and fan switches on then pull on and wiggle the connector going to the blower motor resistor it should start working. Its located on the passenger side of the heat duct and has 2 screws that mount it to the heat duct. These resistors get very hot and melt the pigtail causing it to loose their connection.

Heater fan not working

Check the fuse on the dash board and if this is good then the power supply +B- 12 volt must be checked on the motor. If not the switch can be faulty and it can an open connection or a faulty motor. If there is supply to the motor and it is getting warm then the motor can be stuck and needs an overhauling.

My 98 ford f150 overheats constantly. I have changed the thermostat, fan, fan clutch, gave it a flush and still overheating. A mechanic checked it and said the water pump is good cause water is...

does the heater work good, like real HOT when the truck is HOT? if not, flush the heater core with a water hose, both directions. Now when the truck is HOT open the hood and feel the air coming thorough the radiator, it should be HOT. if its not, the radiator may be plugged. If the mechanic has a Temp Gun, have him check the radiator temp, it should be uniformly HOT if you find cold spots (like if the radiator is 200f and there are places that are 150f) the radiator is plugged and "flushing" will do nothing.

My heater only works on high

If you mean the fan only runs on high speed, then you need to replace the heater blower resistor. It is usually located on the heater box, close to the blower motor.
