Door sensor error and won't come out of park

manufacturer, model & year? if the door sensor is of the push button mounted on each door opening, try this: for safety engage the emergency (or parking) brake, step firmly on the brake pedal, have someone (sit in the car) open door, & manually push down (fully depress) the door switch (not the door lock-unlock switch). do the procedure to all doors till error turns off. (if no one can help you & if more than one switch are not fully depressed when doors are closed, tape down all the switches. if error turned off then a or some switch/es is/are not fully depressed when the doors are closed.) if error persists, suspect a bad door switch (or more), bad body control module (alarm or security control module -not sure how the manufacturer of your car calls it), bad wiring between the switches & the conrol module. don't forget to removed those tapes if you did.

How do i fix the driver side window switch

The thing to do first is have the vehicle hooked up to a professional grade scan tool an have it checked for DTC'S in the driver door module , an to see if the scan tool will talk with the module !
Then if no codes are present check for battery power an good grounds at the module ! You have to take the door panel off the door to get at the module . I have one of these modules out in my tool box , I got it at the auto salvage yard . $10.00
In order to control window operations, as well as other door functions, door modules must be powered up. Battery voltage is supplied by the rear fuse block, through separate circuits, to each door module. Each door module is separately grounded through a ground stake. Additionally, the door modules use these power and ground supplies to provide voltage and ground to their associated window switch, and to provide voltage and ground for door lock operations. The front door modules also use these power and ground supplies to power the window express up sensors, and for outside rearview mirror operation .

Hi, I have a uk 2000 2L Honda accord which has a battery drain that I have narrowed down to the brake light circuit but I can't work out where on this circuit the problem seems to be. I have checked that...

You have to use your meter in series with a battery cable
on Milli-Amps

You now need wiring diagrams, to continue as your doing,
& find your test points, or things to unplug, as your doing

Keep in mind--- the radio clock & computer KAM-- will draw 50 to 70 milliamps

You have to leave the doors closed--- so all modules & relays
go to sleep--- & stay that way

How do I reset the ABS Module error codes?

Many auto parts stores will lend you an OBDII scan tool to use in their parking lot. They can probably guide you but if not, plug in under the dash on the drivers side, turn ignition to on (do not start car) position. Use the rrease feature to reset codes.

Airbag error 16

Flash code 16 can have several different possible causes.
It is for the Occupant Classification Sensor (OCS) system, as well as the passenger seat belt tension sensor..

Possible causes"
> OCS module internal fault
> OCS module calibration fault
> OCS module sensing element fault
> OCS module communications fault
> Front passenger belt tension sensor circuit fault
You need to pull Process Identifier (PID) codes to know which area to took for the fault.
Flash code 16 can be broken down into a smaller area of possibility with the PID code "B2290" and the symptom code (xx) following.
> B2290(24)
> B2290(25)
> B2290(26)
> B2290(27)
> B2290(29)
> B2290(31)
Getting a flash code 16 can also be a combination of faults that will show up as combinations of PID codes.

I have a 2006 dodge caravan sxt. The pasenger power sliding door is not working. First we noticed that the power lock was not unlocking this door but if we manually unlocked it the power opener would work....

yes the door control module could be your problem or it could be you actuator and door motor, these rarely go bad at the same time, but it does happen, start with the door control module, you can usually get these at the junk yard for a reasonable price, hope this helps.

There is a door control module. These are put in the drivers door. They can be checked with a diagnostic computer. I would look at it first, check the plugs and make sure they are connected and have good contact.

Deck lid and all doors ajar.

How often do you see all the door ajar switches stuck ? Come on ! This is probably a GEM module problem ! GEM - generic electronic module . The real thing to do ,( not try ) would be to have it checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes !
