Question about 1998 Nissan Altima

I noticed when using left turning switch, left turn signal works but when it switches off I still an intermittent clicking sound. I does not happen when right turn switch used.

I only noticed it since I had to jump battery. Battery is good. I was just seeing if anything was left on or any switch staying on

You could always disconnect the battery for a minimum of 10 minutes. Reconnect and see if problem re-occurs. Also may be a sticky blinker relay. (weak). Hope this helps somewhat.

My Audi A3 Sport (2007) has a problem with the right turn signal. It blinks maybe once, then the left one will blink a few times, then maybe the right again. It's just random. The left one works fine.

You mean it randomly blinks on either side? If so a shorted relay sounds like the problem. Put the hazard lamps on then off and retry the indicators.

Left turn signal works intermittently.

Hello. You may have a faulty turn signal switch or an expensive relay module. A turn signal switch is way cheaper than a relay module.

Turn signals and Hazard no longer work

Fast clicking is caused by a higher than normal current being applied. Normally a short or a aftermarket relay that requires less current to switch. Sounds like the entire multifunction switch is bad.

1995 ford windstar gl and only the top mount brake lamp is illuminating. Checked all fuses and bulbs and they are all ok. the rear lower 2 lamps illuminate when the lights are on, they just don't brighten...

Sounds like maybe a bad turn signal switch. If the brake and turn signal use the same bulb than the turn signal switch will interrupt the brake signal and supply a turn signal to the bulb. Usually you can wiggle the switch while holding the brake pedal down and get them to intermittently work. If that happens than for sure the switch has failed.

Jaguar xj6 break light cancels signal

Replace the turn signal switch. Bad contact inside causing a crossing of the circuits. When the turn signal is applied it should open the brake light circuit allowing for just the signal to work. Doesn't sound like the switch is doing it's job.

Turn signals work intermittantly on 2005 Dodge GC SXT

It sounds like your multifunction switch is faulty and will need to be replaced. The multifunction switch is a combination of your signal and wiper/washer switches all in one unit and is not servicable and is replaced as a whole unit .
