How to remove bolts? What tool do l use?

a hammer and chisel place the chisel at the edge and use it to move the bolt head around
when the pressure comes off the thread it will turn easily
these are special bolts where the head breaks off on installation and it becomes an anti theft bolt to prevent removal of the steering wheel lock after installation
you can use normal headed bolts to reinstall

Starter removal

remove battery terminals to prevent unexpected grounding of wires at starter. Remove wires at starter, taking note of how they are placed on the starter/selonoid... remove starter mounting bolts, remove starter. Get new starter and install same as reverse. Sometimes the starter has exhaust or other things in the way, so you may have to turn the starter just a certain way to remove it. Might have to come out the top, but out the bottom is the most common way to remove the starter. replace battery wires and vroooom.. off you go.

Wheres fuel pump

The fuel pump is mounted inside the fuel tank. The tank will have to be pulled down to access. Some models have an assess panel under the rear seat. To see if yours does, pull the rear seat bottom out.

How to take the alternator off?

I did this recently on Hyundai Accent. First things first is to disconnect the battery to prevent any contact that can produce sparks during the disconnection of the positive (+) supply of the alternator 1. Jack up car. Remove splash guards from bottom. 2. From bottom loosen pivot bolt. 3. From bottom disconnect cables. 4. From top loosen adjustment bolt and slacken belt. 5. Remove belt from pulley and remove adjustment bolt. 6. From bottom remove pivot bolt. 7. Alternator may have corroded to mounting bracket so work it loose. 8. Find out alternator will not slide out of engine compartment. 9. Loosen radiator mounting bolts. 10. Shift radiator to side to make more room to get alternator out. 11. Install alternator. 12. Put radiator back in its place.
I guess it depends on what year... I too just did an alternator on a 2001 Accent. First, and what the previous forgot, disconnect the negative battery cable. Steps 1 thru 5 are exact. Step 6 is where we differ. 6. From bottom, push alternator up and out of mounting slot, gently work it down and out. 7. The pivot bolt can then be punched out (my bolt had a center mark where a punch would stay, so not to damage the threads) and then put into the replacement. Re-assemble in reverse order.
Last night I did this repair on 1999 accent. a 10mm and 12mm sockets and end wrenches are needed. After trying to wiggle the alternator up through the top, I was afraid of damaging other electrical connections, so I took the oil filter off. It was time for an oil change anyway, but just removing the filter only lost maybe half a quart of oil. The local autozone had an alternator for 129.99, lifetime warranty.

I need to replace upper right ball joint, 98 honda civic

This is a pretty easy job.The way i do it is take the two 14mm bolts louse from the strut on the inner fender well, then take the 17mm bolt out of the bottom of the strut on the lower control arm this will make it drop down. Then take the 14mm bolt louse that fastens the ball joint to the spindle take a hammer and hit the upper spindle and it all will come apart. Now you will have the two bolts that holds the upper control arm in place these are 17mm bolts drop the strut down and remove the upper control arm now you can go in with the new one.Hope this helps !!!

Head Gasket replacement

Hello Terry!                                                                                                                     Start with the top left bolt, then do the bottom right bolt and then do the top right bolt, then do the bottom left bolt. Follow this zig-zag pattern until you reach the middle. This will lossen you head in a uniform manner and prevent warping it. Reverse the process when you are re-installing the head! I hope this helps!                                     Ni

Loosen 2 pivot bolts on back of pump, 13mm. then loose one bolt on bottom/front. Turn adjustment bolt on right side/bottom of pump to loosen belt. Once belt if off, remove all of the bolts connection pump to engine bracket. Remove hoses going to pump. Install new one, filled up with fluid. Now you have to bleed air out of sys.
