My ac not blowing cold air

Not blowing cold air would be either the belt could be slipping,or broken .Most likely the pump clutch has failed.also check the aircon relay depending on what car this is the relay would be in the fuse section under bonnet/hood
Good Luck:)

How come when ever my 2005 s40i automatic, excelerates over 40mph while going up a slight incline or on flat ground while the air conditioner is running the "slow down or change gear selector speed" sign...

maybe because the aircon is using power and creating additional load on the engine. Maybe you should have the aircon and drive belts checked to make sure its not drawing excessive power or theres a belt slipping.

Aircon full gas but dont swith on only blow hot air bantam 2007

There is a clutch which make the compressor engaged. If the clutch is old it sometimes slips. Loosen the (normally) three screws in the front of the compressor. Then put three (or more)
plastic tabs under the screw heads before tighten them again. You find the plastic tabs as closure of your bread plastic bags. The thickness is perfect to make the aircon run again!

Aircon does not engage when turned on

the air cond requires the belt on or the pump cannot rotate as the air cond is belt driven on every auto that i know of. now if the belt is slipping it is a cause of one of two things. belt is stretched or not tensioned properly, or the air cond clutch is froze up. when you turn on with no belt the clutch is engaged and you will not be able to turn pump with ease. Install new belt and have air checked for proper freon fill

While driving when aircon is off I can notice that the power is good when I switch on the aircon it reduces the power and it runs slow as if the car is heavily loaded.

the air conditioning compressor could be failing and dragging the engine down. Or the compressor could have already failed (locked) and the compressor clutch is trying to engage a locked shaft and is dragging badly. You need to have your a/c checked out before you burn out the clutch or cause further damage to the compressor.

Slipping clutch around 2000rpm under load

Clutch friction discs are worn, especially if slipping badly under load. You will need your clutch replaced ASAP to avoid leaving you stranded on the road
