High and low PH will harm aluminum. Coolant may be clean and properly mixed but over time i'ts PH will change while it does its job.
As vehicles get old there is more cross contamination because of wearing and aging seals. Aluminum will also react bad with ferrous metals if not properly separated. If you are using the less expensive after market parts you may be getting poor quality aluminum. Some parts are worth spending the extra money on if its a pain to replace often.

The PAD ( Passenger Airbag Deactivation ) light is inoperable.

Could be unpluged if you have been working around there, or the bulb could be out.

Radio shack sells the same type bulb, if you are good with soldering it is an easy fix.

SOURCE: 1999 Ford f150 V8 4.6 Fuel pump does not run

Did you check the fuel inertia switch ?

From the owners manual pg 155 :
Engine compartment :
Fuse # 10 - Fuel Pump
Fuse # 18 - Fuel injectors

pg 156
Fuel pump relay relay #302
You can swap the fuel pump relay with one of the trailer tow adapter relays to test with.

You can always jumper the normally open contacts in the relay socket ( shown as the red line below ) :

Emergency weld for all metal radiators. Those mechanically inclined
This is a procedure for emergency repair only when you can’t get to a shop and you need to fix a leak in a radiator. First you will need three things one d size battery 12 feet of #12 copper wire or 2 strands 6 feet long. And a pair of needle nosed pliers and some mechanical solder flux core 60/10 resin. Find the fin in the radiator that is leaking with the needle nose pliers remove the cooling fns, these are thin the actual water cores are thinker, once you find the leak with the needle nose pliers remove 1 to 2 inches of the cooling fins from the radiator (Ones Not holding water) give them a twist and pull out the thin fins. Next drain the radiator below the leak snip the cooling fin right where the leak is and with the needle nose pliers bend back the cooling fin by a ¼ inch on both sides. Clean with sand paper or dry as best as you can. Take the D size battery and remove the center carbon core by removing the top, this is toxic so keep it off your hands. Next wrap a wire around the positive post and wrap the other end of the wire around the d battery core. Now ground the radiator with the other cable to the negative side and place it near the crimped side using the d battery core on the area that is bent and put solder onto the bent fin, do this on both sides. Be sure the solder is silver before removing the d core from fin; also hold the core with the needle nose pliers so that you don’t get burned. Let cool add coolant heat the motor up to see if it leaks if it don’t your good to go, be sure to refill the radiator back up with fluid, anything will do to get you home, except motor oil brake fluid or transmission fluid. Beer wine water and antifreeze are the best. This will get you home till you get it fixed; this is for those that have that luck when you need it most it breaks.

I have an 05 f150 fx4. 5.4 ltr triton 4x4. truck wont fire. it rolls over really well. we think its something with the fuel pump.

I had a similar problem w/ my 2004 F150. After a number of failed attempts at a diagnosis, including installing a new fuel pump, it was finally found to be the fuel pump driver module. This is a small rectangular box mounted to the frame in the area of the spare tire. The function is to send a variable signal to the fuel pump so that your engine gets the proper amount of fuel. Anyway, the issue is that the box is mounted against the frame rail and it catches a good deal of road grime and debris. The housing is aluminum and it will corrode through to the circuit board inside. My truck would sometimes just falter a bit and keep running and other times would die completely and not restart. Have your mechanic check this next- or do it yourself. It's ~$70 part (at least for my F150).

Good luck.

Radiator leaking, need to know what type of radiator?

the easiest way to tell if it is Metal or Aluminum is with a Magnet if it sticks its metal if not then its aluminum otherwise it may be both as the ribs are usually aluminum and brass for the vent-tubes

however if it is all aluminum it should be all the color silver

check the spark plugs to see if they are getting any spark-pull one of the plugs, reconnect the wire, and hold near something metal on the car while someone turns the engine over-if no spark-it's electrical-maybe just the plugs-maybe something more serious

There is a 'keeper' gasket contained inside a thin sheet metal 'nut' that screws onto the yoke. Once this is unscrewed the cork seal is free to pop out of the splines just like the slip yoke is and it all just comes apart after that? Water pump pliers is what I use to start undoing the sheet metal 'nut', don't forget to tweak it back tight when done.

Any joy?

There is a special tool that is required to hold the fan clutch. Then the fan screws out of the clutch. The tool can be bought or rented at your friendly parts store like autozone, etc. It will look something like this:
