How do you install a stabilus trunk strut on a toyota sienna

Open your tailgate. Get a helper to assist in holding it up, or at least a broomstick etc to bear the weight.

Make note of the orientation of the cylinder/strut.

There are two types of struts used on these tailgates. The most common has a thin metal ring near the ball end. Pry the curved portion of the ring off the shaft, and slide the straight portion of the ring out of the cup. Then the strut will be free to pull off the balljoint on that end. Repeat for the other end and opposite side.

Install the new struts and slide the thin metal pin into the ball cup, then snap the curved portion back around the shaft.

The second (typically aftermarket) type has a wide (1/4") metal band across the back of the cups. You will need to pry it out with a flat head screwdriver to release the cups.

Toyota Sequoia Radio not remaining on last stations used

Check the fuse block, modern radios use 2 power wires, one switched and one constant power, you are missing the constant voltage for the memory, they can also throw you a curve ball by having an inline fuse on the radio harness.
