The compressor has, or is about to, fail. Have it checked by someone well versed in the climate control systems in the make/model/year. It's not really a do it yourself kind of thing.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: Mitsubishi Montero

I had the same problem as described here ... quoted "sometimes flashing quickly, slowly, or sometimes turning off. The antilock brake light has also come on several times."

and the dealership told me that the electrical conector that goes externally to the gear drive is getting dirty with oil .... two times I sent the car and they told me the same and solved it ... no charges at least but I having the same problem again ... I really want to know where is that electrical conector just to clean it up or put something that avoid dirty or oil get in it again ...

SOURCE: I have 1994 mitsubishi 3000gt insturment panel lights not working

Well, at least it is easier to repair, the SL/VR4 has an LCD panal that is VERY expensive.

Inside the base's control module are little bulbs, yes, you can take them out and change them, but that is kind of a pain in the ****... you may want to just get a new control module from a junkyard and swap it out. if you don't have a service manual, look for one on CD... sometimes people on Ebay sell them, it will give you complete directions on pulling the unit

If you want to pull it yourself, here is the diagram.

SOURCE: No air conditioning, flashing climate light

You should make sure you have proper charge for sure.has your battery gone dead lately? I know on some of them digital climate controls will act exactly like this and have to be reset or go through a setup sequence.

My mitsubishi verada 97 requires H7 light bulbs although some one has fitted H4 bulbs which are three pronged. H7 are 2 pronged but narrower and will not fit socket. Is there an adapter or a workaround....

Veradas use a special two pronged bulb. I'm not sure if it is a two pronged h4 or a larger h7.
Switch you're high beam lights to the normal beams for the time being (assumeing they are working fine) then take it to mitsubishi for new bulbs

I have a 1999 Ford Expedition, Eddie Bauer. The ac compressor clutch will not kick in when useing the climate control. The system is fully charege. I ran power directly to the comperssor and the clutch...

Check the high and low pressure switches, either switch can cause the compressor not to run. Look for the switches in the high and low side lines. Hope this helps, let me know.

CLICKING NOISE BEHIND GLOVEBOX 2000 MITSUBISHI VERADA

It's a little motor that i believe opens and shuts a damper to do with the climate control, a quick fix is just adjusting the cabin temp up a few notches.
