Depending upon your vehicle you must check the fuse box. It could be located on the side of the dashboard on the drivers side, under the hood of vehicle, also on the drivers side, and even in some older models, in the glove-box, or under the dash. When you remove the cover there should be a schematic to show you what fuse is for the fuel pump. Peace. God bless.

May not be your fuse the fuel pump gets power through the oil sending unit so if the engine quits because of a wreck the fuel pump will not keep running. the oil sending unit has two sides one for oil pressure the other side powers the fuel pump one side can go out leaving the other side good. The fuse will be under the hood you also have a fuel pump relay under the hood it may be bad

My fuel pump seems to be pumping gas but my van wont start 02 chevy venture cranks gets fire an gas but wont start

Just because it pumps gas doesn't mean it is at the exact pressure it should be? Most fuel pumps have a psi of 40 to 45 psi, your fuel pump could be pumping at 25 psi or less which is not enough to start your car even though you can see some fuel pumping out. A simple tool to check fuel pressure can be bought at any auto parts store, check the specs on the fuel pump for your 02 Chevy first to see at what pressure it works, then use the fuel pressure gauge to check it. Anything less than what the specs on your fuel pump are suppose to be and you have a bad fuel pump?

Let's say your fuel pump works at 43psi, you hook up the fuel pressure gauge and you find that it reads 25 to 30 psi, that means it's not enough fuel pressure to start your engine.

I changed the fuel pump but the van still won't

And you know the fuel filter is good? Could be injector problem: just as a check, spray some starting fluid into the intake and see if engine runs a few seconds. If it does, it is a fuel problem. Check injector fuse, as a start. Check fuel pressure. Check injector circuit. If engine won't start with starting fluid, check if you are getting spark. Problem may be in the ignition system.

Ive got a 1985 toyota camry and it wont start, carb. cleaner will get it running 4 a little while,no gas getting to injectors. good fuel pump had it tested efi fuse i cant find. ??? can anyone help t

Try the fuel pump relay, and if you know for a fact that you fuel pump is functioning ok replace the fuel filter seeing there is no gas going to the injectors. Other that that I think it might be you fuel pump.

The electric fuelinjecter isn't pumping gas,car won't start.

Are you sure it's an electric fuel injector or the fuel pump that isn't pumping gas.

The Nothstar Engine has an injector for each cylinder, and injectors don't generally pump, they just release pressure built up in the fuel rail.

The relay, wiring, or fuel pump can be at fault. Check the fuse for it, to start.

Have your fuel pressure tested, sounds like pressure is low either from plugged fuel filter or faulty fuel pump, or both. Takes about 10 minutes for mechanic to test it, then you can start from there, if, or if not fuel related.

Hard to start any time of the day for 1994 Nissan Quest XE.

turn your key on, DO NOT TOUCH THE GAS PEDAL and start, good luck. Pumping the pedal doesn't do a thing for fuel injection. In thre days of carburetors and you had control of your own property, Pumping did a couple of things. It set the choke and added more fuel. But that was yesterday and yesterday's gone.
