This is something a certified mechanic should fix for you. It is likely inside your steering column and to get to it, removal of the airbag is probably necessary. Only a qualified tech should do that.

You may have a short in the indicator wand. If so it will need to be replaced.

Sounds to me like the entire column switch is shorting out. Pull the column cover(s) off and inspect the soldered contacts. If they are white or black, or if you see any melted wires, its shorting out. The unit will need replaced.

Right turn indicator stays on

Turn signals not working, Toyota Tundra 2000


Hazards work only when lights are off. Left signal light stays lit on the dash and does not blink and is stuck on (lit up) when lights are lit. If I place hazards on while lights are on only right side flashes and whole dash lights flash too... I replaced the flasher relay and it still does not work. Suggestions anyone? Thanks!
