You can try suzies technic, it will not work is far as i know, the code will remain in the tcm, #1, #2 it sound like that was not the problem to began with, #3 may need to be programed or married to the ecm, and need to correct the code and any other codes in the ecm, stop trowing parts at the vehicle to see what stick, for all you know it is a bad fuse. when noting else works, start from the bottom with some logic checking everything that makes sense.

I would suggest completely disconnecting the battery from the vehicle. Doing this might reset the system.

P1730 Front Speed Sensor - Low Input
P1732 Rear Speed Sensor - Low Input

These are all references to Electronic Stability Control or ABS systems. If there's no problem with wiring, then you could safely assume the speed sensors are bad.

SOURCE: side light bulb change on hyundai terracan

hi there
the solution is simple,
you only need to undo the screw on top of the side light/indicator. then facing the head light place a flat headed screw driver under the bottom lip of side light. the bottom of the lihgt is on a small push fit stud, use a sponge or cloth to protect your bumper paint work then just apply pressure gently to lever side light out towards you, It will come dont worry, you may then change your bulbs if you wish remove the whole light unit you will see the bottom bolt as soon as you release the side light. to replace just push back into place then replace screw. whole job takes about five minutes

hope this helps kevan hildred

SOURCE: 2007 hyundai sonata,2.4 liter auto.

P2187 , System Too Lean At Idle speed. There are two possibilities for this problem.Either the error is coming due to faulty o2 sensor or due to faulty catalytic converter .The o2 sensor are before and after catalytic converter.Replace all.

It's most likely a faulty oxygen sensor or even possibly your catalytic converter Have them checked. Hopefully it's an 02 sensor as that's a much less expensive replacement. It has to be checked. But if both the o2 sensor and catalytic converter both checked out ok ,then in that case the other possibilities for this error code are vacuum leak,or faulty intake manifold.----- This are the possibilities causing this problem. Not all but one out of them is faulty and it has to be checked and replaced. This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Transfer Case Shift Control Switch Indicator Flashes and Returns to Original Mode.
Circuit Description
This symptom usually occurs when a shift into or out of 4LOW will not occur. When the transfer case control module (TCCM) receives a request to shift into or out of 4LOW, the TCCM must see the following parameters before the shift routine can start:
?€¢
The vehicle speed must be below 3 MPH.

?€¢
The transmission must be in neutral.

If the TCCM does not see these conditions the shift control switch indicator lamp will flash for approximately 5 seconds and then return to the original gear.
Test Description
The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.

  1. This step tests the operation of the transfer case shift control switch to help determine if the system is operating properly.

  2. This step determines if the vehicle speed sensor reading is correct.

  3. This step determines if the park switch reading is correct.

What is the next step in diagnosing our Terracans electrical problem

code p1123 refers to long term fuel trim--additive--mixture too rich===causes-- HO2S--fuel pressure --fuel system---mechanical fault---ECM
check all wires and connections. With the mechanical fault I would be revisiting all the items you removed to get to the rocker cover to ensure that all the hoses and wires were correctly replaced and that the gasket has not been mis -fitted or squashed out from under the cover at some point

Start with the simple and check the fuses and replace any one that has gone bad. Pay attention to the 4WD fuse and replace it is it has gone bad.

When 4hi or 4low is selected indicator blinks but system does not go into 4 wheel drive. When put in 4 wheel low rear locks engage.

Nine times out of ten its your push button switch module. fortunatly its not too expensive so if you are the 1 of the 10 that it dosent fix you wont have wasted alot of money. Had the exact same problem with my 2000 silverado also,,, fixed it with the new switch. Good luck!
