Also, check the vacuum hose that comes through the firewall, passenger side, above the battery. there is a T-connection there. Follow the left side behind the battery where it connects to a box under the battery (access it from under the jeep, passenger side, behind tire). Frequently this hose cracks weakening pressure to ac select controls. Just fixed mine by cutting off about 1/4" and replacing. Easy. Vents work fine now.
The part you found that's not working is the blend door motor. If there is vacuum at the hose going to it when it's supposed to pull in, the unit is leaking (vacuum pulls it one way, a spring inside pushes it the opposite way) Most require that the heater box be removed to get at it. (if you can find another way, do it) Temporarily, you can just wire it open till you get to it.
