I agree with what your said, as to what & where they are

You failed to tell us what vehicle & only your owners manual
will show that.

We have no material to answer that, unless we own the same car

Stop by a dealer on the way home & ask a tech all your questions

There is usually a dial somewhere on the dashboard near the odometer area, that sometimes looks like a table lamp on off switch. another type is a thumbwheel type (think mouse scroll-wheel), sometimes near or in conjunction with the headlight switch. What make and model automobile?

This is most likely to be your brake switch near your foot pedal then. They can come lose, or just break completely, rare, but it happens.
Get down on the floor and check up behind your brake pedal, it should look fairly obvious where it is then.
Good luck with it.

Dash lights very dim. Not lights on wiper control and light control knob

this could be a bad dimmer switch which ias usually part of or on the headlamp switch. Ohter outisde chance is the lighting control module but it is expensive and under the dash. Do the heater controls and radio light up brighter and can you control the brightness from off to bright?

My inside light stays on how do i fix this problem

Check the instrument panel dimmer switch. There should be a control to make your instrument panel lights brighter or dimmer. If it's turned all the way to one side the interior lights come on and stay on. Also check all of your door switches to make sure none are grounded. When the door switch grounds the light comes on.

After jump-starting my van, the panel lights don't come on when the headlights are on. How do I fix this?

this either a fuse that bew or your dimmer switch that makes the lights brighter and dimmer on the dash is turned down all the way if the fuse is good and it's nit turned down all the way then the bulbs are all blown or the dimmer switch is bad

Radio lights

Try to adjust dash lights brighter. FOr some reason the radio blacks out even when the lights are dimmed a bit. Try turning the dash lights a bit brighter and see if you can see the radio. HAve a great day.
