My farenheat fu54 heater just stopped working. Power to it is fine any suggestions on how to diagnose the problem

you said it has power, is it before or after the wire from the fuse you have checked, check the power wire that goes after the fuse. the fuse may need to replace, and if all is good and still does not work. check also the thermal cutout, This device protects the unit from overheating, it may already faulty (it may be always in off if its already faulty), here's other to look for , power supply, heating element, Power switches, thermo couple(if any), sensors..

Runs Fine but the power is down

PO121---ETC Throttle Position (TP1) sensor Circuit Range Performance

PO505---Idle Air Control System Malfunction

PO2106---Throttle Actuator Control System-Forced Engine Limited

Just take it back to whom ever did the work, they are totally
incompetent or don't know Fords

These are not easy to diagnose but I do all the time in my
driveway, with all the factory manuals & professional tools
& test equip, but no reason this comes up on fords & lincolns
& a dealer in most cases can't resolve

Take too long to explain & you wouldn't grasp it anyway

Just dont replace parts

Any suggestion of parts come back with details

Intermittent starting problem

I don't know why you even ask a question, until
you get the codes & diagnose the check light issues

Surely you have a check light on all your vehicles
once a year, as most people do.

Any time you get a check light, things stop

You stop using the vehicle & at least get
the codes & diagnose the problem
Then you can decide if it is safe or wise to use
until repaired

If not for the check lights,I would say you don't
have fuel pressure when you turn the key on
Check that with a gauge on the engine

1999 mazda 626 cause overheat ???

I would look at the owners manual and make sure that it calls for a 40 amp fuse. Maybe it's not the right size. But you don't want to go too big because if it is shorting out in the wiring it could cause a fire. Make sure you have the right size fuse if not, there is a short in the wiring or in the fan motor itself.

It starts messing up when i try to go over 35 miles an hour and then it starts losing power but it works fine in 2 and 1 just not 3 or drive.

Time to have the transaxle rebuilt, doubtful
that it is 14 years old,if it is just pull the trans

Stop using it & go a trans shop for
some kind of evaluation

You may want to check for a clogged gas
filter. Don't see that as an issue unless you
never change it

Also the exhaust converter surely is gone
by now & may be blocking flow & reducing
power and effecting shift stratagy

Car working fine just got home 5mins after went to start it nothing happening wont turn over at all

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. If you don't have power inside the car, it is a bad connection at the battery or a bad battery. You need to check your battery terminals and post. Make sure they are clean. If you have power, check your ignition fuse. It may have blown. If it is good, check your starter and starter solenoid. Try hitting the starter a few times hard. It might catch and start. If so, it will still need replaced.

When my corolla is cold it starts fine. I can drive for about a 1/2 mile and then it quits and will not start. I let it sit for awhile and it will start again but not run for very long. So it seems to be...

Is there any kind of check engine light on, or emissions light on? Sometimes when the ignition coils heat up they will short out and stop working, and after they cool down they will work again only till they heat up, then they will stop. If this doesn't help i would need more information to better diagnose whats wrong. Thanks, good luck, Bob

yes very much possible the ignition switch is getting Short so its causing the issue.Check the voltage at ignition switch. The power wire to the ignition switch harness are connected to battery and will give 12 volts. If there is no voltage then its loose connection. If there is short the voltage will differ. ---------thanks.Helpmech.

Sedona Diesel engine losses power

You must have the engine control computer scanned for fault codes, that is the first step in diagnosing this problem
