Need owner Manuel for HU 725AWD/BBC

2014 town and country limited the rear USB ports don't charge


it does charge, you may have a low resistance wire. try using a high speed cable instead

2014 camry has daed battery, what to look for


if it died suddenly you may have left a light on. otherwise it cannot hold enough charge to start the car because the battery is old, or your alternator does not put out enough voltage to keep the battery charged.

Obd tool won't do that. Obd just reads the codes and clears them. You need to figure out what parameters you want to change then send the ecm out for reprogramming. If you have couple thousand you can probably purchase the reprogramming software, but unless you know what you are doing on this you can set some of the systems up wrong and blow the motor. Your decision though.

Car had been sputtering and stalling while stopped in "drive". Mechanic mentioned to change the thermostat so I did it myself. The problem still exists and now the blower for the heat and A/c doesn't

  • Doug Warne CHECK FOR AIR BUBBLES IN COOLANT as piston compress air if it leaking pass the headgasket seal into the coolant jacket this will cause air bubbles and you may loose heat out of the heater core...i have seen this with cracked heads also so if this is the case have head checked at machine shop

  • Doug Warne As far as the A/c Heater Blower i would first check the Fuse in the box with a test light, and i would check all the fuses remember you have a battery side and ignition side of the fuse box if the fuse is blow replace with manufacture Amp Fuse and if new fuse shorts then i would look at blower motor draw

  • Doug Warne Check your battery Cold Crank Amps with a load test meter most parts store will do for free hoping you will buy a battery and if batter test not good if you choose to not to replace your alternator will be charging constentently and the trio diode board in your regulator located inside the alternator in most applications these days will short then this will cause a battery high amp draw so your battery wont start in the am when your late for work..

  • Doug Warne If your battery is loosing charge overnight or anytime you can simply take your negaitive Cable from your batter and put a test light from the negiative cable then touch your neg. terminal and if test light illuminates you have a draw and bad draw so take amp meter and test to see the draw in amps if high amp draw i would first look at the regulator and remove the 12volt singe wire and see if draw disappear if draw is no longer then 99 percent your regulator has shorted

Dealer says I need to replace my exhaust manifold on my 2001 Nissan Frontier due to engine light on. Say it is cracked. Wants $475 for such! Is that a reasonable price?


I would get a second opinion and more cost estimates. It could be just a gasket that needs to be replaced....& most likely the check engine light is not even related to it. I hope this helps.

Tie rod replacement cost


Hi Gcg_77,
You will need to contact your local auto parts store to get price for the tie rod ends.My flat rate manual listed them at $65 a piece but this is an old price.
The labor time listed for these are as follows:

1 inner tie rod end is listed at 1.4 hours,if you replace both it is listed at 2.0 hours.
1 outer tie rod end is listed at 1.1 hours,if you replace both it is listed at 1.4 hours.
These times include resetting the toe only. If you want a complete alignment you deduct 0.4 hours labor and charge full alignment price.

Fair Price for fuel pump and filter replacement on 96 Ford Explor


the labor manual for a 1996 explorer fuel pump gives you 2.1 hours, if you figure in a labor rate of $65 dollars per hour your at $136.50 the cost of the pump is 141.49 is advanced auto price for the average person, list is 219.39 which is what most shops charge so by my figures based on what my shop would charge you should be some where between $300 to $400 depending on there labor rate and i did price the most expensive pump that advanced auto sells for that model so i would say there bill was way to high.
