Get a Haynes repair manual at an auto parts store, and no an air compressor will not work for that job, have you tried fuel injector cleaner in your gas tank or sea foam ?You can purchase either one at walmart or an auto parts dealer

Sounds like it's you spark plug leads. Depending which engine you have in there, if you have the 2.4L then it is a module.

My 2001 Chevy Cavalier acts like it is not getting gas, a new fuel pump and fuel filter and line was put on and it quit again on me, another fuel pump, spark plugs or points was put on and still will

Check your lines, specifically where your filter housing goes into the fuel tank. I had the same issue and I just had to replace that filter along with a hose. It seems the line somehow got clogged. I hope you find this helpful.

I was cruisin down the road in my 76 blazer and engine quit runnin. i popped the hood and seen that there was no fuel in my inline filter so thought it was fuel pump. Put new one on and still no fuel. What...

Could be clogged fuel line ,but the V8 engine fuel pump is operated by a offset lobe on the cam shaft,
take the fuel line loose at the pump and crank the engine, also line from tank to pump could clogged, if you have a air compressor, take the fuel cap off and back blow the line,
let me know if this helps.

2001 cavalier died while driving, now it wont start

Could be failed fuel pump. Disconnect fuel line at engine and turn over a couple times having something to catch gas in. If electric pump don't turn over engine, just turn key to run position for a few seconds. Maybe clogged fuel filter or faulty pump if no gas shows. Change fuel filter and try again. If none, change pump.

2001 cavalier air conditioner blowing hot air

Why do they want to replace the compressor?noisy? If you can put a charge on the ac then it's hot again after a day, then you have a leak.all the ac lines have o-rings where they are connected.without put dye in the system you wont know for sure.So I would try that first.

Clogged fuel line... maybe fuel filter clogged. Air compressor can clear line. Blow out the line coming in to the carb from the tank.
