Hi, my AudiTT 03 has an engine warning light on, scanner showed Evap Emission Control System Incorrect Airflow, mechanic took it off, two days later its returned, also car has been taking a few more turn...

Warning: I'm not a professional mechanic but I do have some experience working on Evap codes.
As far as I know, this code will have no effect on the starting or performance of the engine, so you may have a separate issue.
Your Evap Emission Control System can have a number of problems.
Incorrect flow could be caused by debris in one of your Evap lines, a faulty Purge Valve Solenoid, or Charcoal Canister, among others.
A qualified mechanic will have the proper diagnostic tools to test this.
Evap codes can be very hard to diagnose for a mechanic not familiar with these systems.
Other codes that come up sometimes with Evap systems are leaks.
This occurs when the gas cap is loose, or there is a hole rusted in the gas tank or filler neck. This does not sound like your problem, because a leak should show up on the code scanner.

Check engine light on,with check gas cap

Then the Evap System leak wasn't the gas cap

Pays to just diagnose the system first & replace
parts when you find the real problem

Need professional tools for that

Scan Tool,Evap Smoke Machine,System Diagrams
& more before you start

Mechanic said that there is a small leak in the system according to their computer but was told the leak was too small using a tracer. Any suggestion. They've replaced the gas tank cap but no luck. ...

I assumes, since you mentioned the cap, that you are refering to the Evap System.
There is not much to look at within the Evap System.
Check and make sure someone did not puncture your filler neck to steal gas. That usually gives a large leak but it does not hurt to check.
Also what kind of cap did they replace it with? The Stant locking caps are good for those small leaks. If your area does smog inspections then a smog station may be kind enough to check your cap on their vacuum machine.
Then start at the intake and check the Evap line and follow it to the purge canister and its hoses.

Fuel tank diagram? thinkon about buying a 2002 explorer, but they have issues fueling it up. any suggestions? or stay away from it

If they have a problem of the fuel "kicking off" while filling, it probably has a problem with the evap "vent solenoid." This opens and closes your evap system. This problem would possibly turn on a check engine light. Make sure the light works, and goes out when started. Of course you will need to get it diagnosed to verify the issue. If it is the vent solenoid, it's not an expensive fix, if done by a good mechanic.

Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0446 or P1450 indicates that Self-Test has detected the Evaporative Emission Control System has excessive fuel tank vacuum. Also, a DTC P0446 indicates a vent control malfunction.

Possible causes:

EVAP canister purge outlet tube (EVAP canister purge valve to EVAP canister) blockages or kinks.

EVAP canister tube (fuel tank to EVAP canister) blockages or kinks.

Fuel vapor elbow on EVAP canister contaminated.

Restricted EVAP canister.

Canister vent (CV) solenoid stuck closed (partially or fully).

Plugged or contaminated CV solenoid filter.

EVAP canister purge valve stuck open.

Fuel filler cap stuck closed (no vacuum relief).

VREF circuit open in fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor.

Damaged FTP sensor. (fuel tank pressure)

Check for kinks or bends in the fuel vapor hoses/tubes (EVAP canister purge outlet tube and EVAP canister tube).

Visually inspect EVAP canister inlet port, CV solenoid filter and canister vent hose assembly for contamination or debris.

Check CV solenoid filter for blockage or contamination.

The common things I've seen are are mud in the canister and the canister vent solenoid being shot or the wiring to the canister vent solenoid being torn off. The resistance of the solenoid should be 48-65 ohms..
Pick up a Chiltons book and will give you a diagram of where exactly you find the canister. They are like $15 at any auto store. Good luck

Check engine light on smells like burning & skipping when idling

An EVAP code is emissions and should not harm the engine. A flashing check engine light is a bad thing. When it is flashing it is telling you it has a missfire bad enough to damage the catylist, converter or engine. I would worry about that more than any EVAP code. Good Luck

2000 Lincoln Town Car (Engine Service) found a EVAP System?

Check your gas cap. If someplace can test it you might luck out. This website advertises manuals and info online. The evaporator cannister is suppose to purify excess fuel vapors. But a system which is not sealed will code an error lamp.

I have mercedes ml 430. check engine came on at the same time fuel warning light was blinking. took the car to authorized mechanic, they checked and found po455ctrl system grass leak. they reset the check...

no
it is more likely that the problem is in the EVAP system
code p 0455 refers to evaporative emission(EVAP)system---large leak detected ====causes --hose connections ---intake leak---EVAP cannister---EVAP canister purge valve
I would suggest to you to tell the mechanic to replace the EVAP purge valve as the problem is more likely to be that than the fuel tank
