Check dtcs diagnostic trouble codes, bank 1or 2 sponsor one or two bank one or two sensor one fault = bad sensor, could be be wiring concern, or could be a problem with the ecm. Most likely it is the sensor, this sensor effects fuel/air ratio. Bank one or two sensor two monitors the health of the catalytic converters and does not effective fuel ratio. Same scenario as sensor one could be wiring but most likely you will be replacing the sensor. Post repair clear faults and you should be good to go.

SOURCE: my ford 2005 explorer sport trac the windows don't work.

You may want to check the relay that goes to the primary window. This will provide support to all the other windows. However, it may not just be the window relay, it could possibly be that between your window relay and your main switch there is a short or cut wire that is causing this problem. Unfortunately, you may need to visit your Ford Dealership to run a diagnostic on your wire or if you know an electronic shop that can run one to see if it is receiving and sending power. Have them check the main door fuse and window assembly to see that you are getting power.

SOURCE: P2195 CODE ON 2003 FORD EXPLORER SPORT TRAC 4.O

Hello,
Very common concern with the Explorer, Explorer Sport Trac and Ranger with the 4.0l SOHC engine! The upper and lower intake manifold gaskets fail, causing vacuum leaks..It can be Extremely difficult to detect these leaks, because they only leak intermittently (usually in the AM after a cold soak)... As the engine warms up they seal back up! Sometimes the vehicle will idle rough, surge or stall after initial start up, then the symptoms will clear after it gets to operating temperature... Usually there will be no driveability symptoms at all, except the engine light coming on and setting lean codes.. The gaskets have been redesigned to correct this concern..

How do I replace Oxygen sensor for 07 Explorer Sporttrac

First a question for you? Intake side or exhaust?. Most cars are just a bolt-on type of o2 sensor. If you know which one then simply unbolt it after disconnecting car battery ground and disconnecting o2 sensor. Some sensors from autoparts stores Dont have original plug/jack. You will have to splice the wires/jack to the new one. But if just trying to pass smogcheck I recommend a full tune-up including fitlers for motor and a fuel system treatment. If diagnostic computer says replace probly just replace. Too many things can fail a smog check but no reason stated so this is all I can really say without more info. Good luck.
