What was the original problem?

Did you look at Scan Tool Data?

Did you do any testing?
If not--- you found no problem
So why change any parts?

Who changed those parts-- a repair shop

Did you check for OBD Codes & look them up,
to see the possible issues?

OBD Codes have nothing to do with parts replacement

They are used to diagnose the system that set the codes
& then you have to component test to find a problem

Check the ECM if it has the number 1228253 on it, this is what is wrong with it. Gm trashed all of these bad ecms. Get a 16198264 as they do not cause a cutting off problem . Get a delco ecm , aftermarket units will give trouble and may be a rebuilt 1228253 which is junk.

Crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensors

depends on the year and model. for example, on my 97 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0L , the cam sensor ( also called pick up relay or coil ) is underneath the distributor cap and rotor. flat, round, plastic device with a magnet and little wire (2) with plastic connector. the crank sensor is on the top left ( driver side ) , backside of the bell housing of the transmission. easy to find if looking up at transmission from underneath jeep. wire harness runs by it. will need a couple of long handled extension bars to remove bolt holding it in. do not forget to put little gold bracket back on with new part. this acts as a spacer as well as for support. you can look up more specific info for your vehicle on just type in for example : signs of a bad cam sensor on what year vehicle, how to change the part on vehicle etc.

well if ur not getting spark and u changed all of the ignition components lets think about the computer in order for the ignition to work you have crankshaft position sensor that fires the fuel injectors and the spark change that and if still nothing then change the camshaft postion sensor that sensor tells the computer that the 1 piston has came all the way up and it tells the crankshaft sensor to do its thing

My 2005 dodge neon sxt wont start, no spark, changed cam shaft sensor, coil is good, cant find the crankshaft sensor, also wondered if it could be the timing belt, what do you think?

the crank sensor is on the back side of the engine just above the oil pan there will be two sensors there one is the crank sensor and the other is oil presser sensor. All so check the wires from the crank sensor to the cam sensor. If you think it is the timing belt pull the cover and check it. hope this helps.

Most common,if you gave a distributor, is the ignition coil. The meter readings will be normal but the have a habit of getting small cracks in them that short to ground.

Cam is on the end of the block, crankshaft sensor is on the bottom of the block. Both are easy to change....are you changing these due to poor performance or no start condition?
