Looking under the hood, no luck, where else could it be, i have no idea where else to look
1993 Cougar blower motor is bolted to the outside of a plastic box containing the heater core, under the dash, passenger side.

Typically you will find the blower motor on any vehicle in one of two places. Look on the passenger side fire wall. If it is not there then it is most likely one the inside under the glove box on the passenger side. Be aware that blower motors can be difficult to change depending on their location and what else must be removed to get to them.

remove the trim panel below the glove box and you will see the blower motor, just to the left of it you will see a 4 wire connector plugged into the case. This is the blower motor resistor, this is what you need to replace.

I had the same problem and the flasher is not located in the fuse box because it is not a normal flasher. the cougar has an electronic flasher unit that is located on the left side of the center console. the best and cheapest place to order a new one is amazon.com. they run about $30-$40
