What is year--make--model? I can't track your wiring with out year, make, model.

Does the blower motor work at all? If you unplug the parking brake switch does the blower motor work, then?

1999 Mercury Cougar 2.5L initially blower motor died, hazard lights stopped working, ran great, but now will not shift out of park.

this sounds like you should be keeping up with checking fuses with a test light on both sides of the fuse, the inter lock solenoid on the shift cable is not powering up,check your brake switch.

Only my high setting works on my fan speed switch. also when i turn on my fan to high and step on the brakes my battery voltage (on dash) starts to go down and if left on long enough it starts to blow...

If the blower motor only works in high, the blower resistors are most likely burnt out and need to be replaced. It could also be the speed switch but since it works in high also it's unlikely. I'm not sure if that's related to the other problem, but it's certainly possible. I would start there and see where that takes you. They are a dealer only item but should only run about $30.

Tail lights do not work. Bulbs are good. Both fuses are good(separate cicuits). What else could it be? Is there a relay involved? Could the switch be defective? thanks! Mike

All the exterior lights run threw the turn signal switch. Except the high mount brake light. If you are talking about brake lights replace the TS switch. Parking lights are a little different. If you have no parking lights front and back, TS switch. If you have front and no back, ground problem. Grounds for the back are usually on the drivers side mounted to the frame.

Elctrical problems in a 1996 grand Caravan

I would like to know why the BCM was replace.but the place I would start is the headlamp switch,it turns on the parking and tail lamps and also feeds the cluster. The no heater problem, does the vehicle reach operating temp.which would mean no hot air or do you mean there is no blower motor ?If its there is now blower motor function the first thing is to check the 30amp fuse for the blower motor or if you look under the dash on the passengers side you can find the wiring for the blower it has two wires one green and on black the green wire should light a test light . if you have power there check the black wire for ground (use the black wire as the ground side of your test light .if you have both power and ground then you need a blower motor. Some people will tap the blower motor with a hammerif the motor starts working you have a flat spot in the motor and it should be replaced. Good luck

1998 Olds Cutlass- electronics sometimes possessed?

Sorry yadayada ! BCM has nothing to do with these systems . Could possibly be a ground issue or they share a power supply ! Red brake light an ABS light lit on the instrument cluster , these are probably related ! Have check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes . Brake lights an HVAC blower motor have different grounds . After looking at a wiring diagram and seeing where B+ voltage comes from the ignition switch . The brake light an ABS light come on when the EBCM - electronic brake control module looses B+ voltage . I 'm just taking a guess here but it could be an igition swith problem . Take it an have it checked , Test don't guess !

Rear heat and a/c blower

I sounds strange that both blowers do not work. The A/C blower is in the back of the van, the heater is behind the driver at floor lever. Maybe a power line has came off behind the two switches in the center console. Check the fuses again just to be sure (under the hood on driver side). The daytime running lights will shut off if you depress the parking brake - check if it is fully released. That switch on the parking brake lever would be the first thing I check.
