Either get a Chilton's or Haynes manual for your car to find the fuel sensor (if that is really what needs to be replaced) or take it to a mechanic to get it diagnosed so that your not throwing money away. What makes you think it's the fuel sensor?

How to fix yhis code it on a 2006 accord 4 cyl u 0107 how to fix this code

This code refers to a MAP sensor problem. This sensor uses engine vacuum to calculate fuel delivery. Check for any vacuum leaks from loose/disconnected hoses under the hood as these will give this sensor false readings and could cause a false code. If nothing found, the sensor plug will need to be checked for a ground, a 5vreference supply and the return signal wiring to the computer for communication. If all good suspect faulty sensor

Buy CRC MAF Sensor Cleaner -instructions are on the can

If your in some remote part of the world, braklean will work,
if you got nothing else that is recommended

When you say excessive--I doubt that cleaning the maf will
fix excessive, you may have other issues

You lost fuel control-- possibly

So check for leaking injectors
Fuel Trim Data -on professional scanner
O2 Sensor Data
Cylinder Misfires

There is You Tube Video on the maf

My 2007 Chevy Cobalt will not crank, and will not start. I try to start it and absolutely nothing happens. What is this, and how do I fix it?

check for fuel pressure or listen for fuel pump operation in fuel tank when you turn ignition switch to on position for ten seconds. if no could have faulty fuel pump fuse or relay pump could have failed.if yes hear fuel pump running could have plugged fuel filter. if fuel system okay problem could be ignition system.have vechicle code scan look for fault codes.could have faulty ignition module faulty camshaft sensor or crankshaft position sensor.faulty PCM.

I own a 03 chevy 5.3 liter z71 runs good but loses all throttle response. check engine light comes on and says loss of engine power. i pull over put it in park it has a rough idle. i can push on brake and...

Sounds like fuel starvation. 1) change fuel filter. 2) change fuel pump. GM pumps don't hold up to water in the tank (methanol fuel) very well. Its a 2003 so its probably time. Never replace as many parts as you have, without first performing an OBDII scan of the stored fault history, to avoid buying parts you don't need

1999 S10 Gas gauge bounces from empty to full, nothing between

This problem is caused by the fuel level sensor inside the gas tank, you will need to drop the fuel tank out or remove the pickup bed to access the level sensor which is part of the fuel pump module on most GM products. The part is about $200.00 and 3 hours to install. See picture below. You can buy the part at a very good price from the on line company I use for parts www.rockauto.com

Po463 fuel level sensor circuit voltage too high. how to fix

Hello. There are several possible causes of your issue. Replacing parts to find the root cause is an expensive route for you. Why not drive to an AAMCO and have them give you the free computer scan which may pinpoint the issue. On the otherhand, nothing may show up. To prevent running out of fuel be sure to maintain a log of fuel use. Good luck. Joe

Ajkill is right. I had the same problem with the fuel light always being on and the guage read empty no matter how much fuel is in the tank. I had to have the fuel level sensor in the tank replaced. This is something that they have to drop the tank for. It was about $400 with the part and labor at the dealership.
