Is the blower not working? if not check fuses, then pull out blower motor and take two wires and hook up to battery one positive and one negative and see if blower will work if it does replace ballast, if not replace blower motor

2000 dodge caravan heater blowing cold air only car does not overheat

Feel the heater hoses where they go through the firewall. If they're both hot but you're not getting any heat, your blend door is not moving to mix heated air with unheated air. It could be the blend door actuator not working or the HVAC control unit not working.

2006 dodge grand caravan replaced thermostat and radiator, still no heat?? And the van is running hot

How hot is the engine in degrees F? With a fully warmed engine are the heater hoses, hot? Check coolant flow through the heater core. If no coolant flow through the heater or engine, I'd have to check water pump.

Sometimes when the cooling system is opened, it may get air in the system, your temp gage may be reacting to air in the system?

Having trouble with the heater in my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan. When the car is driving around the neighborhood or stopped at an intersection, only cold air blows. Only with extended constant acceleration,...

Yes . Your heater is actually not an Electrical Heater or a Separate Heating system . Actually if uses the same Radiator Line . When Radiator is heated up it is cooled down with radiator Fan and coolant . But when you use the heater function , this hot fluid is passed through a heating coil tube and blower fan is used to take that heat inside the car .
So I think now you understand , why you are not heated up in a short run . You really need to make the Engine + Radiator Warmer ( that is natuarlly happened when you run more) to get Warm air inside.

2001 grand caravan engine doesn't heat up. doesnt seem like any circulation don't feel anything in top radiator hose.temp gauge doesnt above 1/4 also fluid in radiator is just warm

While engine running, does the air feel warm to hot blowing through the radiator, if it does water is circulading, if it feels cold, replace thermostat.

2001 Dodge Caravan heater blows cold air when stopped

Have you checked the coolant level? What you describe is exactly what happens if the coolant level is low. When stopped at idle, hot coolant is not circulating through the heater core, so no heat. As the engine increases in rpm's when you pull away from the light, the water pump is spinning quicker, and some coolant is making it to the heater core. So check the level, and if it is low, keep an eye on it to see if it drops again. That of course indicates a leak somewhere. Get it fixed, as overheating the engine leads to costly repairs and worse case a new engine. Let me know how you make out with this.

My dodge caravan 2001 is giving heating troubles. Will blow some hot air and then after some time, starts blowing cold air.

Ya I would almost guarantee you that the radiator is shot.
You will need a new one.
Cost 800.00 to 1100.00 to get a mechanic to install.
You can buy one your self for about 300.00.
Do it yourself.
to test if that's the problem try this.
Fill the radiator all the way to the top with coolant
Run the van till its warm check hoses to feel for heat.
If its all hot and good..then id say you got awhile before you will need a radiator.
What will happen next is your van will start to over heat when you least expect it to.
Good luck
