Question about 2007 Kia Sportage 4x4 V6
My fan is not working and I thought it was the Blower Motor Transistor which I replaced, it still did not work. I am now thinking it is the heater fan switch but I cannot get the switch out. Any suggestions?
A Chiltons/Haynes repair manual for you make/model/year will lead you through the process. Have you tried replacing the fuse?

It could be the blower motor resistor, the high position feeds full 12 volt power directly to the blower motor. All lower settings route through the blower motor resistor. It is usually located under the passenger side dash, not far from the blower motor. Two screws secure it to the heater box.

SOURCE: fan motor problem
usually its the heater resistor that causes that. find it and check it out, this controls all fan speeds. its under the passengers side glove box, take off wiring then remove 2 screws and then it will drop out.

In the engine compartment fuse/relay box, check the 40A IGN fuse. If it is blown, the items you mentioned will not work. Replacing the fuse should clear up the trouble and you'll be able to start
