SOURCE: 1986 Ford Bronco dies once it is put into gear

Sounds like a fuel mixture/vacuum problem. Vacuum advance line on the distributor could be loose/leaking/collapsed.

There are a couple of known things to check.
Check connector C134 it is under the hood right below the driver's side headlamp. It is a 42 pin connector with either an 8mm or 10mm bolt in center of it.Take it apart and inspect it for moisture and corrosion.Clean it and add some dielectric grease to the terminals then reconnect it.
Also open drivers door and remove the drivers side lower kick panel.
You will see a 20 pin connector there and also the central junction box.Disconncet the 20 pin connector and the 2 connectors to the central junction box and inspect them for moisture and or corrosion and clean them and add dielectric grease and see if this fixes you problem.

Use a length of rubber hose to listen around for the leak.
Or use some brakeclean or starting fluid to see where the leak is by it reving up. (stay away from the alternator).
Pinch off any vacuum hoses, one at a time, looking for one that makes a difference.

Have a 1993 ford explore six cyl starts good but put in gear a it stall right away ?

In park or neutral not much load on the engine, when you put it in gear, there is a load. How may miles on the engine? How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? Check and clean the idle air system and throttle body, see if it helps? Check cylinder compression. If the compression is way low, it may be tough trying to get it to run correctly.
In the old days, carbed engine, no computer, sometimes we'd set the idle in drive, at least it was driveable, it wouldn't die every time you stopped at a stop sign or red light. Yeah, when you put in park or neutral, the rpms would go high. Sometimes, your just trying to keep it on the road, if possible.

I have a 1988 chevy cavalair station wagon that runs fine until it gets warmed up than you stop at red light it shuts off it starts right back up again until put in gear than it turns off again

I have to ask, how long since a tune-up? Can you check for applicable trouble codes, if there are any?
Maybe it runs ok in open loop, open loop doesn't use the 02 signal until it warms up? Closed loop dies use the 02 signal. Changing the 02 sensor is part of a tune-up.
With idle issues, clean the throttle body and any small idle air passages. Check and clean the idle air valve. Check anything that has to do with air flow.

Are you sure you put the oil in the engine and not the transmission, check both the engine and trans dip sticks to make sure they are at the correct level.

check for engine vacuum leaks and clean the throttle body and idle speed control air bypass valve, also have the system tested for stored trouble codes, below is how to do that test manually. go to the link.
