Engine management light is on, and wont rev very high, any ideas please ?

Car has 137,000 miles, and turbo changed 4 yrs ago,after it went lazy, it still drives ok, without any bad noise, just wont rev much, or pull strongly

It is in limp mode and requires servicing at a deatership to have the ECU reset.

It sound like you are having a electrical problem.You need to check your electrical/ignition system,not all electrical problem the diagnostic machine can read.

the oxygen sensor maybe unplugged, it should be in the manifold, sounds like itss running rich, once fault fixed lean sparkplugs and reset ecu

Chech the solenoid that operates the turbo, its located beside the EGR solenoid on the bulkhead, I had one where the vacuum pipe was blocked where it connects to the brake vacuum pipe.

with cold engine refill radiator, leave cap off, crank engine if water spurts up out radiator is a head gasket or head fault, these heads are not resurfaceable new head would be required

jaguar x-type 2ltr diesel 2004 the glow plug warning light flashing, was told dirty fuel on fault code all fuel changed and filters. No problems for 20 miles untill engine was put under power on high revs went into limp mode, warning light glow plug falshing again? any ideas thanks.

Changed the timing belt and knocked loose the wires or connections to the sensors on the mass airflow device.
