Will a leak cause the radiator fan relay curcuit to malfunction on a 2003 jeep liberty 3.7

a leak in coolant system will cause air pocket in the coolant system around the engine coolant temperature sensor.coolant sensor is a thermistor in which when hot cool cause it resistance decrease which affect the voltage from sensor to pcm which will cause engine coolant to turn on.if coolant level okay, check coolant fan fuse and relay, if all is good, engine coolant temperature sensor could be bad or have vechicle code scan for pcm problems it control the coolant fan.fill coolant system to correct level make sure engine coolat reservoir is at full cold mark and not empty.fill coolant system check for leaks, refill coolant overflow jug back to full cold mark dont over fill, if coolant overflow stay empty you have leak either its leaking or you have radiator hoses or radiator leaking coolant.when coolant overflow jug run dry it cause air get in coolant system causing overheating problems.

Where do I put water in for radiator ?

When engine is cool, take off radiator cap, and fill radiator. Then fill the coolant recovery container to halfway between the full cold mark and the full hot mark. Start engine (with radiator cap still off) and wait for the thermostat to open (upper radiator hose will get hot). Shut off engine, top up radiator, and put the radiator cap on. Fill the coolant recovery tank to the full hot mark.
You should mix the water and anti-freeze in a 50/50 mix before putting it in the car, you know. Cheers.

I cant find the raditor cap on a 2006 pontac torrent

Lots of the newer cars don't have a cap on the radiator. You can only add coolant through the overflow tank. It is the big plastic tank on the side and it should have markings for minimum and maximum fill lines.

Coolant reservoir is overfulling after being driven

It probably got overfilled at some point. There's a max line on the reservoir that you shouldn't fill it over. Coolant expands as it heats up so if there's too much in the system, it's normal for it to overflow.

Need to know where to fill with coolant

Hello grace cali, when you open the hood, look to your left. I believe the coolant reservoir, ( plastic bottle looking thing ), is near the front. It should say coolant right on the cap.
MAKE SURE YOU DONT FILL IT ALL THE WAY UP. LOOK CLOSE ON THE SIDE OF THE PLASTIC RESERVOIR, DOWN ABOUT HALF WAY YOU SHOULD SEE A LINE, AND EITHER JUST BELOW, OR JUST ABOVE THE LINE IT WILL SAY SOMETHING LIKE, "FULL", OR, "FILL TO HERE "
Also, make sure that the coolant is 50/50, ( half coolant, and half water )
Best wishes.

My haynes manual tells me that to check the coolant level, it should be at the cold full mark but my reservoir cap has a tube that only has a "coolant fill" mark on it. What should I be looking for?

I have a 99 GP so I know that its hard to tell how much coolant is in the tank. All I so is fill it about half way and don't worry about it. So long as you have coolant in the tank and you are not constantly adding you should be ok.

I cannot seem to locate the radiator and where I can put water in. Someone help!

The radiator is that flat panel shaped object in the front-most center of the engine compartment. You don't add coolant and water directly into the radiator. On the right side of the engine compartment is a plastic overflow reservoir with a blue cap. That's where the coolant/water mix goes. Run the engine while adding coolant and water. There are fill marks on the reservoir indicating how much coolant/water mix is required. With the engine running, if the radiator is very low on coolant it will repeatedly draw fluid from the reservoir. Continue to add coolant/water mix until the situation stabilizes and the reservoir is filled to the high fill mark.

Where is the drain valve on 2002 dodge caravan radiator?

its a pitcock facing the cab bottom of the radiator, plastic flat. once you find the pitcock just put a bucket underneath and turn it.then refill. if you want to flush(run fluid thru to clean it out) the radiator id suggest taking it in. you dont have to flush it every time you change the coolant out.
