Rear door

Its a dealer only part, usually called a strap.
A Toyota dealer should be able to show you an exploded view of the door and point it out.

1996 BMW 740 il the front passanger side door is closed, lock broke and don't know how to get panel off,

If you can't get the door open then you can't get the panel off its as simple as that, there are screws under the door card that need to be removed to gain access to the inner door workings, without getting the door open you would have to remove the wing to gain access to the hinge bolts & remove the whole door from the vehicle, then you may still have problems with the door having its mechanism locked around the door frames pin or loop

Rear gas tank strap bolt spin's but doesn't come out.

Bad news! Either threads are stripped, or where bolt screws in, the nut that is sometimes spot welded to hold bolt has come loose and is turning with your bolt. I would cut head off bolt, remove strap, and remove tank. Then you can see what you are dealing with. Use a little ingenuity to figure a way to make the strap hold good, when you put it back together. Good luck. If threads are stripped, and you don't want to have it tapped for new threads, try a smaller (high-grade) bolt with a nut to try and draw the strap up tight.

You don't find much with the door jamb switches any longer. Its all done inside the door with the switches being on the door latch.
the radio should still be able to be turned off manualy ;)

BAD GROUND- caused by moisture in cabin- corroding the GROUND terminal /strap/connector. Check the connectors up to the panel? YUP. Tear apart dash. GOOD LUCK!!

I'm trying to get the bottom pulley off to get to bottom timing cover & can not get the bolt out, any suggestions?

There's only two ways to get it off...1) impact wrench, 2) you can try and use a strap wrench wrapped around the pulley to hold it in place while you remove the center bolt. Be sure and get a high quality strap wrench or the strap will just break while your trying to break the bolt loose. If you do a lot of diy mechanic work I would highly recommend an impact wrench. If you don't have a large enough air compressor you can get a cordless model that will do the job just as good.
