There is a page on the web that has trw piston dimensions and shapes but little else. The .030 states that it is a .030" oversize piston for a bored block. Take it to an engineering shop that reconditions engines and they may have a catalogue that will list the piston and from the shops experience may be able to tell you what motor it will fit.

What is compression ratio of a trw l2292 piston,it is .030 over

The compression ratio does not depend on the piston, it depends on the application.
Different engines/motors have different compression ratios.
This piston will fit more than one model year and application, so you will want to look it up by "what motor you are fitting it into".
However, this being said, TRW may very well have limits of compression their piston of that number will take.
All pistons are designed to meet certain criteria.
TRW alone might know their limits.
God bless your efforts.

My trw lower ball joint came with torque specs for the mounting bolts to 15ft.lbs each.. My trw upper ball joint came with no specs for the mounting bolts which are smaller bolts than the lowers, how do i...

I've replaced many ball joints, and never used a torque wrench. Just make them tight. If yours are the type with cotter pins, then you make it tight and slip in the cotter pin.

Looking for 2.5 engine on 86 fiero vin r

I just checked Ebay, and there are two listed. You might try Craigs List.

(Tips from me:
Port the Vortec head. Open the Intake and Exhaust ports, by smoothing them out, and smoothing the casting sprue lines out.

Put the Intake gasket, and the Exhaust gasket on the head, (After marking the area with Prussian Blue)
Scribe the opening of the gasket, onto the head, then match the ports to the scribed lines.

You also should round the valve guides top surface. (Where the valve stem meets the guide) There is a square edge that needs to be rounded. This square edge interferes with the fuel/air mixture, as the sharp edge breaks the fuel/air mixture down into droplets.
You want to keep the fuel/air mixture atomized, Not droplets.

Also narrow the casting that comes up the side of the valve guide. (Squared off shape that follows up the guide, and makes the Vortec shape swirl shape in the Intake port) Narrow it to more of a small rounded edge.

Do not polish the Bottom of the intake ports. Leave them as a rough casting. Smooth, and polish the Sides, and Top of the Intake port. (Do not get Extreme! You'll go into the water jacket with your die grinder! Factory may have had a casting shift that day. Just smooth things up)

Makes a nice swirl pattern for the fuel/air mixture.
If you polish the floor, (Bottom), of the Intake port, you will create Two swirl patterns, and they will collide with each other, making droplets again. (They cancel each other out. You want one nice swirl pattern flowing through the Intake port)

I can bring my 1985 Fiero up to 155Mph, (On dragstrip set up for this, tires, and proper safety equipment used). I can also 'Keep my foot' out of the throttle, and get 45 miles to the gallon on the highway.

You can use flat top 350 Chevy pistons. The 2.5 Vin R Fiero engine has a 4 inch bore like a small block Chevy. The pistons can be put on the Fiero rods. Same wrist pin size. The piston drops down into the engine block, about .030 below deck height.

(Wrist pin to piston crown height, is .030 shorter with 350 Chevy piston, compared to stock Fiero piston. You can buy 4 - 350 Chevy pistons AND rings, compared to the price of just the rings, for a Fiero!)

(Thirty thousandths. Real close to 1/32nd of an inch. .03125 is 1/32nd of an inch)

Fiero's have dish head pistons, so the drop in deck height, and using a Flat Top 350 Chevy piston equals out. (Better flame travel with flat top piston. Better burn, more power. Uses more of the fuel/air mixture than a dish head design)
If you can't afford to have them balanced, use a beam scale, and balance them yourself.

I can bring my 1985 Fiero up to 155Mph, (On dragstrip set up for this, and proper safety equipment used). I can also 'Keep my foot' out of the throttle, and get => 45 miles to the gallon on the highway. (Throttle Body Fuel Injection. TBI)

Makes a V6 Fiero cringe!

Google TRW or MOOG parts catalogs online.
Performance Products has catalogs on the matter.
RockAuto.com will show you pictures of parts, but you'll need names of parts.

How to change front break pads A4 2000 and what type/ make of pads do i need

I have the same car 2000 Audi A4. I recommend you "TRW" brake pads. First you must verify yours front brake disc diameter: 280 mm or 288 mm. (On my car y have 288 mm). After that you can buy the brake pads (with wear sensor). For change front brake pads you must raise vehicle, remove wheels, extract the retaining spring of the caliper, and remove the caliper as follow: 1. Do not disconnect the brake hose from the caliper, and do not allow the caliper to hang by the brake hose! 2. Remove top and bottom caps (on back side of the caliper) for access to guide pins, then unbolt and remove them from the brake carrier. Remove the caliper. 3. Now you must thoroughly clean the brake calipers (free of grease). 4. Remove outer brake pad from brake carrier. 5. Pull inner brake pad out of brake caliper piston. 6. Check up the brake fluid level on the reservor, and emptying if neccessary! 7. Push piston back into brake caliper housing. 8. Install inner brake pad (with expanding spring) in brake caliper piston. (Arrow marked on pad - if exist, must point in direction of brake disc rotation when vehicle is moving forward). 9. Install outer brake pad into brake carrier. 10. Bolt brake caliper housing to brake carrier using two guide pins. Tightening torque is 25 Nm. 11. Install both caps. 12. Insert retaining spring into brake caliper housing. Important: Depress the brake pedal firmly several times while the car is stationary so that the brake pads adjust to their normal operating positions!!! Check brake fluid level and top up if neccessary!!! Please Rate my Response! Thanks!
