What is the torque specifications for the intake manifold for my Lincoln Ls V6 2002


Upper intake manifold bolts : 89 in.lb. Lower intake manifold bolts : 89 in.lb. Thottle body bolts :89 in.lb. Front intake manifold support nut:89 in.lb. Upper intake support bracket nuts :53 in.lb. Here are the specs per GM. Please pay attention to what is inch pounds and what is foot pounds. (To convert inch pounds to foot pounds divide by 12.)

as far as I know there isn't a "remote" wire unless you are dealing with steering wheel switches

Need to know the torque sequence and ft lbs for a 1998 chevy cavalir 2.2 liter thank you


I found two pieces of information, but no picture showing the sequence, but hopefully this will help.


Tighten bolt 1 to 63 N·m (46 lb ft).
Tighten bolt 2 to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).
Tighten bolt 3 to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).
Tighten bolt 4 to 63 N·m (46 lb ft).
Tighten bolt 5 to 63 N·m (46 lb ft).
Tighten bolt 6 to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).
Tighten bolt 7 to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).
Tighten bolt 8 to 63 N·m (46 lb ft).
Tighten bolt 9 to 63 N·m (46 lb ft).
Tighten bolt 10 (stud bolt) to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).
Then tighten all bolts an additional 90 degrees

For the 2.2L engine. First Pass Long bolts 46 ft. lbs Short bolts 43 ft. lbs Final Pass Tighten all bolts an additional 90 degree turn.
