Question about 1995 Ford Explorer
Nothing yet. Want peoples opinions first. Thank you.
Short of a complete rebuild of the entire vehicles
suspension, that would have to be done by yourself,
as it would be too expensive to pay someone, your done
It is way to old to do anything-- to be honest
Get rid of it,too old to work on & invest any money

it might be the tire pressure or the shocks. if the pressure is too high it can feel that way. it could also be the suspension.

My grandfather has a 97 Ford Crown Vic that used to do the same thing. He had the front end greased when he got an oil change and that solved the problem. So thats probably all you need.

This usually indicates a problem with the suspension components. Check for play in front end suspension, 1st thing I would check would be the steering damper, it's often overlooked, and could be the cause. If that checks out ok, jack up and check for play in wheels, which could be caused by worn ball joints, tie rod ends, wheel bearings. A lot of possibilities, generally play in any components can trigger the shaking you're experiencing when hitting a pot hole or bump. Good luck!

I had the same problem. It would squeak kinda bad when I pull in my driveway. My cv boots were good. I found the ball joints were getting wore out, as well as the shocks were over 10 yrs old. I replaced the ball joints and shocks. I know my squeaks stopped, I personally believe it was the shocks that fixed my squeaking.

SOURCE: overdrive light blinking
Have a mechanic check for loose wires going to the transmission. Usually when the OD light blicks it's because there is something wrong with the transmission. Have your transmission fluid checked. If it appears brown, dark, or smells burnt have it and the transmission filter replaced immediately. It may also be that you have a leak in the transmission and need to add transmission fluid so that it's at the right level.
