Check to see if latch is closed they will sometimes flip to the
closed position right after you open the hatch.

It is possible that the latch mechanism is stuck and needs to be freed. Spray some penetrating oil into it and try to loosen the mechanism.

Hi,If its cold and you washed your car few days ago its probably frozen so you can heat up your key with a lighter and it will unlock it . If it doesnt work the first time heat it up again and should work.

Do you think it needs oiling or the closing part needs to be oiled down.Or the catch is might be clogged .Or just some 10w.Might help!!!

Ford taurus overheating problem

Check the thermostat, It may be frozen in the closed position. The thermostat should open up as the engine warm up, this helps the engine tp warm up quickly.
A thermostat that is stuck in the opened position will not allow the engine to reach operating temperature quickly.

Its cold and the door was frozen stuck. But after unlocking it, I pried it open and when I got in the drivers seat to close the door. The latch is stuck in the down position and the door wont close or...

spray the latch catch with oil or silicone to loosen the latch mechanism than stick something [a screwdriver/ pen ] that u can use to push the catch upward to open push on catch while lifting handle if catch falls back either latch spring still frozen or latch spring broken and needs replacement

Latch on hatchback locked in the closed position

The fault sounds like its the catch at fault, I would recomend replacing, if you can open tgailgate, operate the unlock funcion using key and try and move the catch position

Heat/air fan not blowing air out - still feel heat/cold up close but no fan.

you need to reset the system on your control panal it or your blower needs to be replaced check the fuses as well
