2003 kia sorento died. Codes are Po700,Po335, and Po727

be careful on this one. 700 means a transaxle, not sure if its stopped signal or something else. 335 is the crank sensor, i wonder if you have a timing belt that has come or or somethin like that. dont crank the engine until you can get someone to check some things.

Heater wont come on ?

If the fan wont turn on, you probably have a blown blower motor resistor. If it blows but wont blow warm, check your coolant level. If low, look around the engine compartment for a chalk-like residue (residual coolant splatter) and try to find the source and fix that

A code reader is what you need if your
working on your own car
$60.00 is nothing for that, use it to clear
codes, generic codes is all it will retrieve,'
not the ones you may need to diagnose
they are manufacturer codes

To change a throttle body is going too far
I think

2007 Hyundai Tuscan, the airbag light keeps coming on. have been to the dealer 9 times in 2 years and they have done nothing but reset it and sent me on my way. how can i reset this myself or have...

A good dealer will never reset it without at least telling you what was wrong and possible solutions. Though a fluke code from a low battery or jump start is possible, usually if there is an srs code it is a real issue. If you have another dealer within a reasonable distance, go to them. There is no easy way to service the srs system for the end user.

1999 dodge 1500 trans slips in low and reverse. I tried to adjust the reverse band but the bolt screws in so far before it gets tight I cant get the lock nut on. any ideas whats wrong ? and is there anyway...

If you need to screw the band adjustment in that far chances are that there is no friction material left on the band. If you keep driving like that the band will begin to eat into the drum and shed fine metal (like what happens to worn brake shoes when they eat up the drum) which can and will contaminate the remainder of the internal hydraulics and do even more damage. Nothing worthwhile you can do to fix the problem short of replacing it with a scrapyard unit (including converter) or having yours rebuilt.

Turn the key and nothing happens,no crank,no sound,no start

It seems that you have a loose wire, bad connector or perhaps the main computer itself that is causing a problem If the shop is not seeing any codes, or codes come and go, likely I'm right...but someone is going to have to actually do some intensive testing to find the real cause. You can likely get another computer from a local scrapyard far cheaper than what the dealer will charge far as wiring, you need a good accurate schematic a good volt/ohmeter and lots of time to trace wiring. When checking connectors test the pin, then probe the wire going into the pin...often the problem is where a wire meets the backside of the pin, either corroding or breaking..This also applies to any modules such as the security system...what you see on the dash does not always tell you that connection to components is good. This is not a "fix, but rather, a direction to go in. (exactly what I"d need to do if I was there)
Right now, everything is suspect including fuel system, till you rule it out!!!
