My car can not come to a complete stop even at 25mph during winter or going down hill after skitting a little forward. I could feel the brake petal shaking.. my car even skit while driving on a wet road with lots of rain..

That is your anti lock brakes try not stepping on the brake so hard .

SOURCE: front brakes feel mushy after being replaced

You have air in your break lines. The two ways you can solve this problem is have the breaks blead to get the air out of the lines, or you can take the top of the break reservoir and pump your breaks to the floor. DONOT DO THIS With the car moving. What this will do is force the air to the reservoir.

I have the same problem, you need to change de oil transmission or try an additive for aut. trans that resolve the problem for a while, but is almost most better changing de oil.

Sounds like the pads are worn out and are grinding on the rotors. You will likely have to replace the pads and rotors.

Find out what the issue is between the discs and pads and master cylinder. Take it to a garage and don't drive until safe!

Did they no what they were doing,? Replace the master cylinder for the brakes, End check the lines going to the Brake perporshener that they are not leaking,

your master cylinder leaking onto firewall? do you have brake fluid coming into the car around under steering wheel? if so you have bad master cylinder, if on a hill you hold brake and petal moves down under foot pressure the master cylinder is bad

E-brake works forward, but not backwards. Help!


Is the park brake adjusted properly? u should start to feel resistance on the 3rd click of the brake ratchet, if u don't it need adjustment.
