Did the heat work before? I need you to be more specific but you can try removing the hoses to the heater core and flushing it out.

Heater stop working. blower still works no heat.

check the coolant level in the rad, then check both heater hoses when the truck is warmed up they should be the same temperature if not then the heater core is plugged.you can try running/soaking the heater core with CLR to try to unplug it.if it doesn`t work then it will have to be replaced.also the thermostat may need replacing.

1999 Taurus-NO HEAT-replaced thermostat,flushed heater core,still NO HEAT,ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Sounds like the problem has to be the valve is not opening and thus not allowing the hot coolant to enter the heater coil. Manualy open the valve (engine firewall) and see if heat is present. If this works check your cable from the dash switch as it isn't working the valve properly and needs replacing.

You need a techII there is no quick way for someone to do it.
BUT with that said you may want to try disconnecting the battery cable and letting it sit for 20 minutes or so. Sometimes it will reset it's self, most of the time it will not.
Just so you know most of the time when one of those actuators is bad it bends the door it is attaced to. And the even crapier thing about it you cannot service just the door, the case needs to be replaced.
Report back if you need further assistance.
