Best or Easiest Way !

You like all the people that come here,
have no motor shown

Sort of funny the way folks ask questions

Never removed one before?

How about watching You Tube Video, on any motor,
to see what is required

If the crank bolt doesn't come out, then you will need an
impact gun & air compressor,no room-- then out comes
the radiator

Most pulleys require a tool to remove & install them

Sometimes you need to make up or weld together a bar,
to keep the motor from turning

Harmonic balancer seal-1997 plymouth grand voyager van

Depending on the amount of room to the radiator / fan shroud it is not excessively difficult to do if you have the correct tools. You will need a 1/2 inch impact gun , harmonic balancer remover, screw driver, hammer. a piece of pipe the same size as the outside dia of the seal and a hammer along with a selection of spanners and sockets to remove the fan belt and anything else that will be in your way.. IF the balance is held on with a bolt then the easiest thing is the impact gun. the harmonic puller to pull the balancer off with, the pipe and the hammer to replace the seal. the screw driver to pry out the old seal

I dont think its repairable. Once they come apart, u have to toss it. Anything is "fixable" but its not worth your time or energy. It will definitely fall apart again. Now's your chanch to put in a performance one. If $$ is an issue, get one from the wrecker.

first you will need to remove the belt. then you might have to remove the electric fan. (depending on what engine you have) then you will need remove the bolt from the harmonic balancer. i think its a 21 mm. then you need to get a harmonic balancer pulley puller. you can rent one at your local auto parts store. install the puller and remove the harmonic balancer. then put new one on by using the bolt. reinstall all components in reverse. this one is pretty easy to do. please rate thank you.

Should be very close to the harmonic balancer that's on the front end of the crank shaft. You will likely have to remove a component and the belt to gain access to it. Good luck.
