If you are referring to the data link to down load codes You should say what vehicle you are on as some have to have a switch turned in the ECM before data will download

Blowing fuse on aux power

The first thing is to look inside the aux socket to make sure nothing is inside the socket. then remove the plug from the rear of the socket and see if it still pops fuse, i think it wont, i think the problem is a bad socket, if the fuse stops poping then just replace the socket. good day.

I have 2007 dodge ram 2500,

If you have checked all the fuses and relays and everything is ok, then start the truck and turn on the a/c from inside cab as you normally would do. Then go out side on passenger side of thuck and you will see a pressure switch mounted on the accumulator, disconnect the plug from the switch. Then insert a jumper wire into the plug, if clutch comes on then you do not hav enough freon or the switch is bad. Inspect for any leak on the system. Hope this will help you.

Heater fan rattles - do I repair from inside the cab or under the hood ? and how ?

sounds like your blower motor is bad. its easy to replace. its inside the cab under the glove box. it should have 3 bolts and a plug.

1997 Nissan pickup seems to be flooding with rough idle & black smoke. Techs troubleshooting computer is not picking up engine computer.

If his scanner won't pick up the computer then the fuse may be blown for the computer or the DLC data link connector fuse may be bad it has two. If the DLC is dead test the three fuses in the cab and the one in the engine compartment on passenger side. if still no Data then you have a bigger problem. The 97 98 changed and They had some problems with the harness Where the plug goes into the fuse inside the cab to the computer.

LEFT TRAILER TURN SIGNAL DOES NOT WORK

I'd get a 12vdc test light if you don't have one already & start from plug, and keep probing back from there. It may be as simple as a bad connection under truck where joined into harness.
