Question about 2003 Saturn VUE
Because you have disconnected and replaced the battery ,it is possible that the CPU program in the ECM is corrupted. Use a scanner to reset the program and go from there.

If it is a 2.2 Auto it has a VT25E Trans,A really bad experiment from G.M.There is no dipstick. The only way to check it per service is to remove the center part of the main drain plug while running in park,if fluid drains or trickles out they say it's full. You probally have other Issues inside the trans.Check your mileage they have a special coverage period for this Trans through Saturn Dealer!! They May cover it or do a partial coverage for you.Hope this helps
